At work and still sober, sheep been on the juice yet? No. Lots of work tomorrow. All work and no play makes sheep not that unpopular with clients.

hi
I had a strange dream last night. I was in one of the houses I lived in as a child, with my mum and sister (though weirdly I had two sisters). There was a black eagle on a table in the front garden which seemed to be acting strangely.
Someone went out with my pet dog (which was a puppy but also weirdly a chimpanzee). We said they should come in because the eagle might take it. Then my pet cat went out - a cat that was also black. I thought the cat was at risk of getting snatched by the eagle so I went out, and as I got out into the garden the eagle hopped down, took the cat in its talons and flew off. As I looked up I could see the cat looking down, terrified, with its claws out.
A pretty ominous dream I think.

Edgar Allan Bones on the dreams. Lay off the late night cheese snackage.
Morning. Running late. Do I get a coffee and be even later? Hmm. I better not. Fucks sake.
Last day in the office this year.

Back to bloody Staines this morning. Been up since 4.30.
I watched the haunting thing on Netflix with Darth Marenghi last night, bit middling.

Can anyone recommend an excellent kitchen … piece of kitchen technology? A gadget? Not an air-fryer.
Something like the gadgets created by the inventor dad in Gremlins.
Or any gadget - piece of novel tech.
I need a Christmas present for my dad.

That’s pretty good. Although my dad doesn’t really eat bread. He eats mainly meat.
I suppose I could get him a sausage machine. Bit of a weird present coming from someone who’s pretty much vegetarian though …
I was hoping to get him a dehydrator but the delivery times are all off.

I'm fond of gadgets but stopped buying them as they were rarely used, no point buying something that is just going to sit in the cupboard.

LASER meat thermometer? Remember having one in the restaurant I used to work at and it was pretty cool, told you the temp of a steak (and other things) so you knew if it was done to your liking.
Limited functionality, takes up drawer space, perfect for Christmas.

I think that series is ripe for a comeback. Maybe with the Guardians new Everyman columnist, Adrian Chiles.
