I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, chickpeas in chilli. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

We needed a doorstop for the bedroom door, so... I've placed a belt of 7.62mm ammo (60 rounds) against said door. Before you give me a blasting, let me just say that my sister bought them in Camden market over 30 years ago because she wanted a stylish belt to wear. I presume they aren't live rounds. Slam the door heavily and you'll find out. I can see the headline in the South Hams Gazette now. "Plydiot blow own foot off using ammunition as a door stop." |

I did have a large tub of gunpowder once (big can of paint size) but Mrs T got nervous and poured water on it.
I just mentioned this to her, 'Well, what did you want that for?'. "To blow stuff up".
Honestly, some people... no sense of fun.

My response when asked what it was for was 'To give me time to get away'. That usually shut them up for a while. Let's also not mention the half sack of KNO3 in the loft. |

Evening
Made a chilli. I did a Starmer and allowed my own beliefs to be determined by what is popular that day. Kidney beans were added. Chickpeas went for a Burton and were replaced by a tin of 'mixed bean salad' - canellini, flageolet & adzuki.
Tomorrows weather warning of strong wind seems very apt.
