I'm back tomorrow. I have days holiday Thurs and my usual Fri off. I was supposed to have Thurs to myself... But as the pm is recovering from the Flu still I now need to come back up to her folks. It's not like I had plans. Mutter mutter.

Sleep in, empty the kitchen walk in cupboard of old toys the child has never touched while she's out the building, then perhaps a chew and some video games. Replace the Buckie with IPA and the ice cream with a kebab.

My dad asked me to ‘get him something nice’. It might have to be a box of chocolates with pictures of Dutch buildings on the wrappers.
I’m ruminating on the prospect of Storm Henk.

Good morning and Happy New Year!
I spent 4pm-11pm at the pub on hogmanay, then got chapperoned home by a sober Mamifere Prefere, we watched something that I cant remember until midnight and then I conked out 10mins later. Good times.
Bad news is my sore tooth is a total bastard and keeps delivering very uncomfortable pain every few hours and then going away again. My lazy dentist isnt back at work until tomorrow and will probably want half of 2024s salary to give me an appointment.
I was overcome with good intentions yesterday so am now on day 2 of being 100% committed to clean living.
