I'm really not into vegetable juice, its weird and wrong. Orange juice with carrot juice is sort of okish though

I threw up in the primary school lunch hall after eating beetroot, back in the early 80s. Body couldn't handle it. I went back to chips and crisps after that.

Beetroot should only be eaten in a sandwich with cheese. Preferably Wensleydale, or another similar crumbly white cheese like Cheshire or Lancashire.

I love beetroot, I like the spicy little ones you get in the supermarket, and the normal ones. Is one of the foods I always feel like I can sense the nourishment in. Sadly I've reached that age where I find enjoyment in making beetroot chutney and pickled beetroot. Have some of the yellowy striped beetroot in the fridge all ready for bottling up.

Another benefit of eating lots of beetroot is that it looks like you have internal hemorrhaging after the mornings dump.

I go out of the office for a couple of hours and you lot are discussing fucking beetroot. Probably literally.

Morning
Just the rest of today and tomorrow to go then I'm off work until 8th April. It's what Pontius Pilate would have wanted.
Hope everyone has pre-ordered the Atari 400 mini for tomorrows release. It's what Amipal (RIP) would have wanted.
OTTM, I've gone maverick and have SWAPPED OUT my usual choco Leibniz dark for choco Leibniz orange. I'm out of control.

I quite like beetroot. I used to occasionally eat quite a lot as a child. Then I didn't eat much in my teens and twenties. I was therefore in my thirties before I realised that I didn't have blood in my piss sometimes when I was a child, and I was right to ignore it and right not to tell anyone else about it.

I'd also be willing to allow sliced beetroot in a sandwich with some thick cut cured ham.

That's 'thick CUT cured ham'. Not sure what thick cunt cured ham would be like. Maybe I'll ask Chris Grayling.

Workchat! sort of.....
We were tasked a year-end challenge to each write a bit of code to automate a task of our choosing. Today I presented my effort, and having done so, got to see the other 'efforts'. Jeepers! Seems I may have misread the brief!
Most folk seem to have gone for a speedy half dozen lines, to log on a box and check if a port is up or down..... not me sir.
I created a 1750 line behemoth of a beast, which traces a service of the users choice across multiple devices, identifies all ipv4 aaaaand ipv6 BGP peerings, reports their status, and for good measure pings each peer and reports back latency and packet loss.
I'm a little concerned that they'll now start wondering why I wasn't doing the job i'm paid for, while creating this monster.

I just gave 'The Lad' a pack of Walkers Pickled Onion flavour crisps for his birthday. I am a generous man (it's all I had in that he might like).
I realise this is not a patch on the goings on at Gong Central, but there you have it.

Also, the MiL & Mrs T will be back shortly from the Hospital. My MiL will be staying the night. I have been drinking steadily and have no crisps left.
Sprayed myself liberally with Davidoff's Cool Water, just to be on the safe side.
Might have a nap.

Hmmm - maybe giving The Lad the can of Davidoff, and rubbing yourself all over with the Pickled Onion crisps might have been prudent, if the MiL is inbound?
