I think thereβs a market for game review websites where the reviewers pay for the games they review. Or they should have the reviews broken down into different sections: Graphics, Addictiveness, Value for Money. I use Twitch for this. Watch a few folk playing it before buying or not buying.

Dragons Dogma II. Needs a secret door, and a pawn. There are dragons and dogma. Haven't played it. Value for money **** Graphics **** Addictiveness ****
There you go.

You pay a small charge, show your passport and you're good to go apparently. Excellent. There is a lesbian owned coffee shop round the corner from our hotel in Amsterdam. I'll probably go and have a gander, but doubt I'll purchase. Certainly not to smoke and the PM would boot my baws if I was asleep for 24hrs due to a stupidly strong edible.

Moonrock sounds fucking amazing though tbh.
"The product is made by taking high-quality cannabis flower, coating it in cannabis concentrate, and then rolling it in kief. Kief is formed from the resinous trichomes that fall off the cannabis plant, and is extremely potent."
Utter brain damage. Christ. Fuck that.

I think you have to call them 'beverage-vending establishments' these days.

hi I played Dragons Dogma II yesterday / this morning, until 4.45am. I went to a village for a quest, I completed the quest but then the road out of the village disappeared. The pawn said something to this effect, so I wondered if there was more quest to do. I interacted for a bit, then used a βferrystoneβ to warp back to the city. I turns out Iβd completed the quest after all β¦ I sacked off the main quests and went back into the countryside. The game is better there. Kind of compelling. Much more compelling somehow. Anyway β¦ I later read on the internet that the completion of one of the main quests I couldnβt do required the discovery of a hidden door. The quest was not to find a hidden door. The quest was explicitly to do something else, but you can / could only complete it by finding a hidden door that isnβt / wasnβt mentioned at all. I would return the game on this basis if I could. I want my money back. Did you finish the maskeraid ball. I to spent ages on it. I don't know how to do hidden spoilers and I can't be bothered to find out how. So don't read on if you don't want to......take the outer circuit at the ball and past the open doors there's a hidden door if you feel along the wall for it.....it opened for me and some people came out of it. Follow the path to the brothel.

I think they gave me a membership pass for the brothel at the end. But I've yet to return and partake of the services offered.

Thanks whatalark. I think I might be done with the game. A quest you can only compete by doing something youβre not asked to do as part of the quest? Itβs not for me. Itβs like getting a job to work in a bar, then being sacked because you didnβt know part of the job was to build a wall for the people next door.

A lesbian owned coffee shop? It's what Google maps says about it. It's in their bio.

They had loads of hidden quests. I don't mind them. I think a game should be 'fair' to players. If there are hidden things that should be clear. I think it is in Dragon's Dogma.

Is it likenplaying the tbletop game. Fairly.

Also β¦ with the masquerade ball β¦ The last time I went without my mask to see if it would trigger anything. It triggered me getting killed. Now - even when I go there with my mask (and courtly breeches etc.) - I get killed.
Itβs possible Iβm expecting too much.

I have played β¦ and finished (nominally), some of the Souls games. They are excellent. Almost always fair (though Dark Souls has hidden paths in one section which I didnβt like)β¦ There are no quests in the Souls games (that I know of) where youβre explicitly told to do one thing but have to do something else instead. If there was you would have an NPC with a muffled voice inside a helmet grimly chuckling about how unfair it was. You would accept it.

Rolling, Lazybones, Scubar, Amipal. My PS5 claims you all own BF2042.
I take it this is horseshit? It also says my pal Andy owns it, who I know for certain doesn't.

This Dead Island 2 is a bit shit. I was happily strolling around clubbing zombies to DEATH, when I suddenly got mobbed by loads of the fuckers and killed. Reload and die again and again. Also, no guns yet.
The menu system is also clunky and shit.
Not a fan, but I didn't pay 60 sovs for the pleasure.
