Hmmnnn. British Gas has sent me a text to let me know that they WILL be round next week to bung a smart meter in Tids Towers. I have not asked for this.
They can do one.

I bet amipal 's recent marital discord was down to the pronunciation of Nice biscuits. Could be an issue if we were married. But no shackles bind these hands! Unlike your balls.
{err... no offence)

An app for your broadband? what is the world coming to.
I've got... 500 Mbps broadband, and wired directly into the PS5. I can now download 100GB games and then not play them at a much greater speed.

Smart meter or trying it on to get in and out in a prepayment meter? Back to work, only left the early hours. Send booze and brick.

I'm actually thinking of getting a DVD player this weekend, to watch the collection of crap I've been hoovering up from CEX. Getting in on the ground floor of the 2040s DVD revival. If you're after a 4k dvd player then I recommend a Panasonic UB820 if your telly has Dolby Vision. A UB420 if no Dolby Vision.

Don't do it. You're handing over control of your power to THE MAN. Just like in California last year when there was a heatwave and the SHEEP with "smart" meters had their power restricted so they couldn't use the essential air con, whilst the FREE THINKERS who did their OWN RESEARCH, were lovely and cool, perhaps too cool. These are things the LAMESTREAM LEGACY MEDIA hide from YOU because they are COMPLICIT. FACTS.

Morning!
I watched Oppenheimer last night. Really good. Was a bit far fetched at one point with the main physicist dude getting it on with an actual real life girl, but overall it was great. 4* would recommend.

The highest resolution a DVD can store is 576p, a massive reduction from the 2160p offered by 4K UHD video on blu-ray.

When is the next playstation being released? I want to buy and not play all the PS games Ive not tried on the shelf yet PS5 Pro. is due this year. I'd guess that means the PS6 is at least 3 maybe 4 or 5 years away. In terms of numbers of games this generation is disappointing. Also there haven't been many big games yet. Partly due to Covid. I think Sony will keep the PS5 going as long as possible. Microsoft is on the ropes in terms of hardware sales and Nintendo pursues it's own thing.

I've got a Blu-Ray player wot I purchased from Richer Sounds about 16 years ago. No idea how much it cost me as I was completely bladdered at the time. It now lives in a box on the top of a wardrobe thing.

My PS4 will play discs (5 is digital model) but it is a hassle to start up, the charging ports on the controllers are going, etc etc.
I see Argos are selling high end dvd players for 40 quid.
