Scubar - recently had experience with being managed out. What Sheep said. The union was involved practically from the beginning and a satisfactory financial compensation was achieved, plus the satisfaction of no longer having to work with the bastards (won't say more as the contract contained a gagging clause. They knew that what they did wouldn't look good).
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! As I've said some time ago, I need to be a bit careful with war documentaries, since Mr Enemy and I are usually watching stuff before bed, and history wasn't history when it was happening...

I'm not sure I intended to be helpful (or sympathetic). It just sort of slipped out. Can we pretend it never happened?
Mostly it is just being sensible and looking to make it easy for them to give your girlfriend what she wants. Which if Shenguin is her manager is a new identity, amnesia and lifelong therapy (just to be on the safe side).

It's a shame as this is the first team that is supposed to be "good" and neither want to win, the next round will not be easy but "should" be won, so the first game we'll, hopefully, see England playing a "good" team is the quarter finals.
