Last night I watched Crimes Of The Future.
A weird David Cronenberg body horror.
It's ok if you like odd rubber intestines everywhere and shit films.
Viggo Mortensen reminded me of Rutger Hauer in one of his weirder films. Lots of still shots of him being enigmatic.
It's a vaguely unpleasant film. It would be more disturbing if it were a better film. Instead it's mostly bizarre. I never bought in to the scenario and it was all a bit low rent.
Perhaps it didn't help that i wanted it to be a noir steampunk time travel thriller. Which it isn't. It would have been a much better film as such.
The title is far and away the best thing about it.
4* recommended.

Was late leaving after packed lunch duty.
Managed to get a bus which took me to the next stop on the line and get my train. All good.
Last night we watched a bit of the news.
I played a bit of Super Mario Bros 4. Mario is a furry? Who knew.
Off to a branch to re-image machines and have a skive of a morning.

I'm trying to go cold turkey on my credit card and only use my debit card. Delayed gratification is no fun at all, but in about 8 weeks I imagine I'll be sitting on top of a huge mound of gold coins and steam decks like a cartoon monarch.

Neil Young stole £38 from me yesterday. I say stole. My membership at the NY Archive renewed automatically. It is well worth it for me. There's a massive number of concerts and outtakes there. I am working through them slowly.
I went onto Brum on Saturday and only spent the parking ticket.
