TV, watched the last night of the Athletics in Rome. Tremendous stuff. When in Rome..

I was gifted a jar of homemade Trinidadian pepper sauce the other day. Phenomenal. It was made in a home in Aigburth, Liverpool rather than a home in Trinidad, but it was phenomenal. A sensation.

I have been busy. I took some old toy cars (mostly matchbox and Corgi from 70s and 80s, not great condition) to Oxfam.
Rude bastards rejected them. They would have taken one or two, but there were about 50.
However they did direct me to Birmingham Settlement who took them
I had checked and a couple of them might be worth up to £10 I think. Mostly not though.
Shado 2 which is a missile launcher boxed with missiles and tracks and without chipped paint is on Ebay for £135. I assume it doesn't actually sell for that much.
Also mine had no box, no tracks, no missiles and the launcher had separated.
You can buy a replica box for £15. I did not.
I am fairly sure I paid about £5 for the whole thing, admittedly a while ago. I saved up for a few weeks to get it.
I also popped in o Waterstones, where to celebrate my getting over the book buying addiction and my good deed I bought 5 books.
The assistant laughed at me. She said one moment I was wandering aimlessly round the store without any books, the next I was at the till with all the books.

Was just at the end of chapter 3 with Big Fiery boss to face and then for some reason got side tracked. I think I may have tried something else, possibly Dragons Dogma (orig). It's on my large pile of games to go back to. Sigh. |
