hi I wonder if I drank too much last night. I woke up outside at about 4 or 5am. I went in and secured two of the doors with an ingenious string solution, then climbed into bed. I had some paracetamol and a cup of tea and some Toblerone this morning but I have an immense lethargy. ShenguinI suppose you could say all the waitresses in the skull / idol cocktail place are good looking. There were lots of roistering people from yachts in there last night. Ok - I’m going to try and rouse myself. This lethargy is real.

Statistically, the chances of being dragged along to an Oasis show must be pretty slim

Absolutely pissing it down. On the trains. Running late as there was no driver. The cunt just sauntered up the platform without a care in the world. Would have had time to grab a coffee. Pah.
Oasis? Nah mate. Though Liam's voice is better now than has been for years.
Can't see them surviving the rehearsals never mind a tour. A lot of money though for retirement, that might make them keep the head.

Oasis should limit the reunion to one live performance of three songs. With the the original line-up.
I was pumped about Oasis in 1994. I really didn’t like ‘Live Forever’ though. And couldn’t get into Definitely Maybe. Liam Gallagher is / was a good front man. That is true.

My guestlist spot for the last gig of the first Oasis tour got cancelled.
I'm assuming those two tickets will be available for me for one of these gigs.

I saw Stereolab last year. I think they reformed for live performances only, explicitly for the money, even though the relationships between band members were maybe a bit strained.
There were still really good, but you could feel the chilliness on stage. So it was a bit like seeing them 30 years ago but they were older, I was older, there was a chilliness you could feel on stage, and they didn’t play any new songs.

I think the only band I would really want to see reform, even if only for one show, is The Smiths. With the caveat that Morrissey rows back on what he said about Nigel Farage, Britain First and Sadiq Khan.

I would love to see Boards of Canada live in a really unusual venue, but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

I think it was at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. I had an ear problem at the time so felt pretty out of sorts. I saw them at Glastonbury a year later (I think), but they weren’t really for me. I just feel I fell off the wave of Oasis enthusiasm very early. The NME seemed to think Live Forever was a great song - an epochal work of starbusting genius. I didn’t get it. It just sounded like moribund soft rock. Thanks for listening.

The first time I went to Reading festival, in 2000, I'm pretty sure Oasis were one of the headliners. I have absolutely no recollection whatsoever of seeing them though
