Morning all! The boy has gone off on a trip with his Nan for the day, and won’t be back til midday tomorrow. It is oddly quiet in the house… Whammerblog: I’ve acquired a hot-wire cutter, and have been melting/cutting polystyrene into low-hill shapes - the dream! One of these hills will form the base of the chapel I made out of foamboard a few weeks back. It’s all coming together [interlaces fingers]. TVblog: Culinary Class War, as recommended by EnglishRed. An episode and a half in, and we are hooked. Also, The Expanse. Things aren’t looking good on Ganymede. |

I made a toastie* in the pan with sourdough, Italian tomato, chilli & garlic tapenade, leerdammer. I am dipping it into lentil & tomato soup. The Toastie is tremendous.
*Aka grilled cheese just to make sure amipal is deceased.

Turkey Ragu for dinner.
Added some fennel seeds via the pestle n mortar. The PM and I could taste them, though happily seemed to bypass the child. Loads left for the freezer.
They're watching Strictly. I'm going to play something on the laptop with the noise cancelling headphones.

I’m watching a film called The Strangeness, from 1985. It’s a horror film I suppose. I thought it might be a lost masterpiece but actually it’s maybe not so good. I mean that’s just my opinion. Maybe some people would like it. I’ve spent the last ten minutes wondering how i can leave a Whatsapp group with no-one knowing. I don’t think I can.

Other people leave groups they don't want to be in all the time. It doesn't create ructions, and if it does, they're not there to see them. Or just mute the group. That's what I do. I don't think I've ever left a group, except when I've left a job. |
