My vision is still fucked from my new specs. How long do you give it?
I couldn't read the board at my local station this morning, when normally I could. I think. I might be misremembering. I don't have time today but when I'm in the office on Thursday I'm going back with them.
What fucking recourse is there? Unless they fucked up when making the lenses.
They're making them based on what you say you can and can't read at the exam.
I sit on the floor in front of the telly playing the PS5 and the welcome screen thingy was blurry. I'm quite depressed by the whole thing. Basically £500 down the fucking drain. Going to try the old ones at the station on Thurs and see if the distance vision is better.

I seem to remember that the art is to move your head rather than your eyes. It takes a while to get used to but once mastered they are excellent. Mind out for kerbs. |

My previous two pairs were Varifocals so I'm used to how they work. These are a slightly different shape/bigger and I think they fucked up the zone where the close up/far away meets. It's based on where your pupil sits in the frame. Historically they used a ruler and marked the clear lens and measured. Now they're using an iPad. When the girl said they'd been using it for two weeks and she asked a colleague about the zone as the frame was bigger my Spidey senses started tingling. Or I was getting a cold sore |
