Back when pubs closed for the afternoons there would always be group of us arriving at the pub door and hour early on a Sunday morning because we'd forgotten about the time change. Keen for a game of darts or cards. A chance to regain some of our monetary losses from the drunken Saturday evening session.

No jims, meal out and even spoons seem to have raised prices, or it a posh place surcharge. #Pray4Destry.
Not looking forward to getting up at what will feel like 4am on Wednesday back to work.

Morning Bellends
I too forgot about Starmer and his WEF overlords time travel scam. In that extra hour (which was conveniently missing from his 'manifesto') he steals all the old age pensioners savings to fund his communist regime.
OTTM, got a sore back from lugging shit around. Got loads more to do. Sigh.

The Indian restaurant we went to yesterday gave us a little cup of soup as we chose our food. A spiced tomato number. It was absolutely delicious.

We used to go to Whitby during the October week holidays when I was a teenager. Hire an old fishermans cottage above the harbour.
I dread to imagine how much that would cost via AirBnB nowadays. Nowadays.
Christ I want fish & chips now.

We are also having home made soup today. I'm entrusting the younglings to do it with a simple set of instructions.
It's my world famous Tuffers Use It Or Lose It soup, or TUIOLI soup.
All veggies that need using up, plus a few extras.
Today's will contain:
Carrots, celery, onions, garlic, potatoes, sweet potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers.
Instructions: chop everything up and chuck it in a pan with a load of butter, heat gently for half an hour, add a Veggie oxo and a couple of pints of water, over season with salt and pepper add half a teaspoon of chilli powder. Leave to simmer.
Got some poncey tiger batons/mini baguettes from the Co-op for smothering in butter and dunkin'.

This one.
