Last night I tried the cleric beast again following rolling escargots advice about the molotovs. Thanks to the internet I can also allocate stuff to fast keys.
Still got hammered but had him/her down to about 1/4 health. A big improvement.
I'm now out of molotov and echoes so farming required.
But it's all a bit intense.
Great story etc

Also after Stupid Sexy Cleric had shown me who was boss, and realising I didn't have any molotovs, I went for a wander.
Found a sewer, fell off a plank, hurtled to bottom of sewer. Big rats got a good spanking from Tuffers.
Wish I'd not sold NMS now.

And yes to your original point too. That's why I've just loaded up Kings Quest,it's basically for children. |

I think you can summon an npc to help out with cleric beast. There's a summon sign somewhere nearby, can't remember exactly where though.
