Games chat, apart from rdr2 when it launches are there any decent RPGs to try? Pottered about with passengers in elite but it's not getting its hooks in like last time. Has anyone got it in vr?

(Remote played into the ps4 from my laptop last night as Mrs Crank wanted to watch TV. She then brought up I-player and made it more laggy. Anyway...)
Went into a friend's nightclub in GTA last night. It's done really well.
You go downstairs and can hear the muffled music and you open the door and boom it hits you; the music, the lights. You can't see properly and there's a strange euphoric feeling, your mouth is dry and your limbs seem heavy. Ok maybe not that last sentence. You can dance. You tap X to the beat and the other buttons do various moves.
God I badly want to go out all weekend.

Article about non-violent games over at the other place. Including Stardew Valley, where I’m sure you hit monsters with swords.
Is it just me, or has the games section got a bit more...Guardian since Keef’s departure/ousting?

Morning all! I've done it. I've finally done it. I've uploaded all of my non-display team shots from RIAT. I'm now going to take a rest before working on the Red Arrows etc. More Final Space last night. I really like it! A good mix of Futurama and Rick & Morty. |

Hi.
Games? A couple of hours of No Man's Sky. I'm still playing in Creative mode, but am really enjoying the latest update. It's the little things; the clouds and weather systems, the increased detail on the ships, the variety and scale of the flora and fauna, ringed planets, tall mountains, deep oceans,.
i was 'invaded' twice while pootling around my solar system. I didn't even see the first guy. His arrival was announced and, later, his departure. The second guy, Astounding_Andrew arrived at the same base as me, apparently wanting to chat. Alas, as I never play multiplayer I had no comms, though I did wave at him as he ran around tagging the fauna.
Then I got in my ship and flew to a rather pretty ice planet to reflect on my life.
4 stars.

Some Fortnite last night. A good random squad member achieved a top 6 squad place for the dead members of the squad (including Sheep and me) to fulfill one of the daily challenges. Followed by some enjoyable 50v50.
Realising what the ‘fill’ and ‘don’t fill’ setting does has improved the experience and allowed me to reduce my interaction with foreign tweens. I assume all foreign schools start teaching English language from an early age, but I can’t understand why they evidently only teach the phrase ‘shut the fuck up’.

They can kill you, I think, but you will just respawn. As far as I know they can't take your stuff or steal your ship or anything like that so there's little point. It's essentially an exploration game, not a PvP shooter. |

Killed it. Have you all melted? Yes. Yes, I have. Too hot to sleep, and today woken up too early by a phone call with no-one at the other end. Yesterday we had two scam calls from fake UK numbers, both a computer voice claiming to phone on behalf of "BT Communications" or something like that and claiming that our internet would be terminated unless one presses 1 to be put in touch with a friendly con artist. Hung up both times, naturally, thinking that with that premise any self-respecting scammer wouldn't phone the next day when the intended victim knows that their internet is working just fine. Hadn't reckoned with their petty revenge of getting you out of bed at 5:30 am for not falling for their scheme. Played more Octopussy Travelling, half an hour spent on a sidequest battle between Olberic and ... a drunken bouncer, only to be defeated after using up all my healing items. Oof. This game is tough. Gotta tinker with Olberic's equipment before I attempt this again. |

Sci-FiElex The Surge ME Andromeda Planescape Numenera Possibly The Technomancer TradBloodbourne Souls 1-3 Divinity Original Sin Pillars Of Eternity Kingdom Come Deliverance Vampyr (not that great apparently) Coming SoonPillars Of Eternity 2 Divinity Original Sin 2 Some of them are better than others obviously. I have enjoyed Elex a lot, but have only played it a bit. |

Games: yes, Mad Max, I've just let pink person into the great white. Am I near the end? I have also got to gastown.
TV: Watching the space cartoon on Netflix, good.
Other: off to Devon for a long weekend with old school mates, so today is my Saturday!
