Chatterbox Friday

Barely slept as I think the heat got to the kid and he was up half the night. I also got slaughtered all night long on Fortnite. Watched some more Good Girls which is OK. Overall, terrible, 4 stars.

What is this 'rain' of which you speak?

Still in a muggy puddle of sweat here...

Lovely morning here though the rain is in the post... due to start at 4 and last all bloody weekend.

I've got the child myself till Monday night as Mrs Crank is off back down to Oxford to see the fam.

TV. Got about 20 mins of the last Bosch in the series. The commute was just too short.

Games. Bought a nightclub in GTA. What a horrendous amount of 'money' was spent.

There was a lot of pump at the time. Going cheapish in a few sales at the moment.

Got a busy day dealing with numbers and accounts and stuff. All very acidic above-the-shoulders mustard shit.

It's ok. I didn't finish it and don't really have any plans to get back to it.

The robot dinosaurs are pretty incredible to start with but the novelty dies off fairly quickly, then it's just your big standard action game.

Went to a gig last night, saw Bastille and Ella Eyre, just missed Professor Green. It was good, even if I only knew a couple of the songs.

YEEAAHHH!

Thunder? Check.

Massive pint size rain drops? Check.

Woohoo!

Very much so, imo, enough to make me get the plat. Good story, good game play and not too many collectables. 


Morning all!

The BBC told me it wouldn't rain until 4 so I came to work in a nice thin, white t-shirt to try and beat the heat. The thunder and rain are already here and I still need to go out to get my lunch. Bastards.

Games! Received some controller extensions for the mini- SNES so that got booted up for the third or fourth time last night. After a couple of blasts on Mariokart I tried Earthbound but couldn't get away with it so settled on FF3, or what I thought was 3. It was actually FF6, which was a happy accident. I now have Terra's theme stuck in my head. Also started to re-download Norman's Sky due to the minor pump going on in here. Enjoyed it at launch so I'm quite looking forward to giving it another go tonight.

OTTM! Nothing. Haven't seen Buddy (the blackbird) in a few days. I'm choosing to believe that it's fledged now rather than one of the bastard cats having gotten it. 

Rain stopped now.

Busy busy. Off for a weeks holiday after today. It's been a good year so first class all the way. Mainly due to one of our customers sending in this nerd wearing a Halo t-shirt to negotiate next year's stationery order for his employer. Made millions in billable time already and not handed over a single post-it note yet.

Yes! Thought it was brilliant once you got into it. Combat is really fun after a few upgrades, and the world and story are convincing without being overwhelmed by things to do.

Games? No!  Tonight's the night, though, maybe.
TV? No!
Other? I travelled to the far north-east to sing songs with like-minded individuals about how Sean Dyche resembles a fat Neil Lennon. There were explosive thunderstorms as we journeyed home through rural Aberdeenshire, which I assume was nature's response to Melvazord returning from the dead.
