Some people just like to watch. Whether it’s football, comment boards or rural car parks after sunset.

What's everyone's favourite T.S.O.L. album?

If we're going for a series I highly recommend Steven Erikson's Malazan book of the fallen That's a good shout. I finished #13 earlier this year. I might re-read just to see if the lore, in the early books, makes more sense second time around.

Jack Reacher is the best series. Sales + Movies made = Proof.

The first book, Gardens of the Moon, is notoriously dodgy about time lines and other things, generally ignore that one for lore

Lee Child is a horrible man. A dirty DVB bastard. He sickens me to the pit of my stomach. I do not think I could ever read any of his books.
He also went to the same school I did, though he left before I was born.

A few years ago I knackered my Kindle by letting the battery go so flat that it wouldn't charge anymore. The idea behind getting one was trying to have more space in the house that's not filled with books.
Then we inherited a library. Now we've decided that we simply need a bigger house.
Favourite book? Really difficult to say, but I think I'd give it to Douglas Hofstadter's Gödel, Escher, Bach.
Current reading: Trevor Noah's autobiography Born a Crime. I would normally not touch a celebrity autobiography with a bargepole, but our family's connection to South Africa makes this a good read, plus we really like the man.

Inherited a library as in inherited a lot of books? Or a literal library situation like you'd get at the beginning of a ropey horror film?

Well played, but no. I'm beginning to suspect these are not random pictures from the internet you are using.

If we inherited the building that goes with it we wouldn't have the space problem. I would have preferred having a spooky library to prance around in instead of sitting on hundreds of boxes filled with books.

What I was really hoping for was a secret lab. labs have a very low reading age. You want a collie.

What I was really hoping for was a secret lab. So was I, but if our current house has a secret lab it's so secret that we haven't found it yet. Pressing the fourth rosette three rows down on the wood panelling to the right of the fireplace does nothing.

Hi.
As I am in pre mod my comment saying that no one was pointing out the most important thing about the syrian refugee i.e. he looked like Clem Fandango, was not allowed.
Can you hear me Frank?
Yes I can hear you.
Fuck off Frank.
