I've not had a Pot Noodle type thing for years and the flavour was...interesting 4* I have been thinking about ways to make my long bus ride home more depressing, and tucking into a luke-warm pot noodle as I listen to bleak techno sounds like a good combination. The scene nicely rounded off as rain pelts against the window as the bus meanders through a sink estate in Chesterfield. |

Baby, under these circumstances invest in a lot of good books or a handheld gaming device or both.
Streaming games: I don't watch LPs often, but when I do it's either a streamer I like with a game that I either can't play or don't want to play myself but find interesting/so bad it's entertaining. I also sometimes watch a game that I played myself a long time ago*, just to see how the streamer reacts to it.
On a different note, I don't know whether you remember that I was sacrificing a weekend some time ago because I needed to help a student who was given an unnecessary hard time by a colleague, a twat of the highest order. Without going into details, I've just heard he has handed in his resignation. Heheheheh. I can't be sure but I'd like to think my little bombshell played a role.
*i.e. a couple of millennia decades ago

Today I've been to the Culloden battlefield and visitor centre. These places always give one cause for sombre reflection at the inhumanity of humans - 6 quid for a bowl of lukewarm soup and another 3 for a coffee is a fucking tragedy.
