Mornin' fuckoes.
I've been a busy chap lately, nice to see the refugee 'Box is still in regular use. Destry for BOTY!
If anyone has the misfortune to be in Derby this Saturday and wants to do something other than drink / drugs / contemplate suicide then the BAFA U17s National Finals are taking place at the University Sports Ground. Wee Wee Cooper will be there, Quarterbacking the Birmingham Lions in their quest to win the National Plate Trophy ( Conference Runners Up trophy ) and hopefully doing better than their trip to the Nationals last year.
Games. NaNimal Mother, former 'Boxer sent me CoD WW2 over the weekend so i've been playing the campaign on that the past couple of days. MW3 seems so very long ago and yet CoD campaigns, RIP, have gotten progressively worse in my opinion. MAybe just as well they're not bothering anymore. Saves me money anyway. I've mostly been on NHL18 lately, a few hours on The Division for the 5th Shield notwithstanding. Games!

Did anyone try the free cod from people+ the other month? Think it was blops3 but just didn't seem to have a campaign that was half decent.

Morning!
Thanks Melvazord for the Bee lesson. Though I do still think it's better to save it with junk food rather than let it die. There's not many left after all!
Couldn't be arsed with NMS last night so instead booted up Civ VI for a quick blast. 5 hours later, and after a war with 3 of my neighbours, everyone is hiding scared from me. The peace talks came at a fortunate time though, I was running out of units toward the end. Managed to get around 6 new cities out of it, too. Now, Germany has a nicely positioned capital and I've built up a large force nearby, anyone know how to push them into declaring war on me? Don't think I can take many more warmonger points.

It takes me 2.5 hours to get to work now there is a replacement bus for most of my "train" journey. That's 2.5 hours each way. Good chance to catch up on Netflix? Not really as there is no tray on the seats to prop the tablet up on. I do have a thrilling book on toddler behavior to read though.

2.5 hour commute? Fuck. That.
Morning all.
Last night I continued with my Mad Max pist-story-completion-ponder. Not many scrap caches left, though am in Gastown trying to find the last pieces. Really good use of my time.
Watched some Korean cooking programme where they get celebrities' fridges, then some assembled chefs try and cook good dishes from them. Absolutely nuts.

Anything over a one hour commute is surely grounds for moving house or getting a new job, no matter how big a cheese you are on the stationery ordering scene. I tried the free cod from the people+ when it arrived. Took about 3 days to download because I live in a low bandwidth environment and then i only played 3 games of multiplayer. Quite fun though.

Isn’t that basically Ready Steady Cook?

Morning,
No games, a few pages of a book but it really didn’t sink in so I’ll try again. An episode of Orange Is The New Black and lots of house tidying.
In other news, I just discovered putting peanut butter in porridge. This is a game changer.

Drones don't last very long anyway, this time of year maybe a month or so. At best, its his last meal in which he will drown in (the dream)
GRANS TIRAMISU: Grp 4 race at Suzuka. I qualified 3rd, but some lad dropped out just before the race started upgrading me to 2nd. Well dear reader I thought I was on for the win here. On the 1st lap going through the S curves I was faster than the chap in front, and accelerating into the Dunlop curve I was right on him. Sadly, going through Degner curve and into turn 9, some bellend with a shite connection glitched out of nowhere and punted me wide. This put me down to 5th, and with only a 4 lap race I thought I was out of it. Over the remainder of the first lap I passed 4th and 3rd, and going into the Dunlop curve for the second time, the guy in front of me overcooked it and went off, promoting me back into 2nd place. 1st place was 3 second ahead but I made this up easily through the rest of the lap and was right on him as we went into the S cruves on the 3rd lap. Again I was much faster than he was and I passed him accelerating up the hill at Dunlop. With a lap and 3/4 to go I was in a good place. Through Degner and turns 9 and 10 the guy was right with me, and as we went through the hairpin I went a little wide and onto the grass. Luckily I kept it together and kept going, but sadly I went back to second and gave him another 3 or 4 seconds. With 1 lap to go I managed to catch right back up to him but only as we went through Casio for the last time and theres no way past there unless you've caught them on the main straight and dive down the right, but it was not to be. I had to settle for second and was fairly annoyed that, as usual, had I not been punted wide, or made that mistake at the chicane I would almost certainly have won.
Back to you in the studio David.
TL;DR: I'm fast, but I also suck.

Games: just a bit more sidequesting in October Travel Break. Kudos to the writers who went beyond and above in giving every single NPC one can interact with a detailed biography. These people really, really like telling stories and inventing characters. It's a challenge keeping track of everything, I'm considering old-fashioned pen and paper.

Two and a half hours commute? FYL.
I cycled into work today. I have never done that before. Just over 14 miles. Later I have to make the decision whether to cycle home or just live here now.
Games: none. Things that matter: a couple of pints last night.

At some point all the best console games should require you to have an open laptop and spreadsheet with you while you play.

My commute is 25 minutes on some traffic-light back roads through rural England, and I'd sack even that off right fast if I could, its just wasted time. Two and half hours is a fucking joke. I'm generally an easy going guy*, but that would drive a saint to murder.
I have a job that I could work from home 4 out of every 5 days, but where I work is backward as fuck and also very, very paranoid**, so there is zero chance of that ever happening.
* I absolutely am not.
** and rightly so, theres no way I'd do full hours at home. I'd be up at 10 am at the earliest , 2 hour lunch, stop at 3 pm and most of that "clocked on" time would be spent on the PS4 anyway.

If you can do your job in those hours logically you could do the same in the office and look busy the rest of the time, so what's the difference apart from appearances? Seems there's not enough work or you're very good at your job
