Vombat sounds like a bat that throws up everywhere.
Hello all. The house is not in fine fettle today, due to my son very quickly developing a cold/teething overnight. He's been crying/balling/grouchy since around 8pm last night. I'd blame it on nursery, but reckon he picked something up on Sunday or Monday (factoring in incubation period).
In other news, I'm slow-cooking some pork for tonight's dinner. Burritos. Hopefully it all works out okay - I get the impression that this recipe book is basically to convince you that it's not worth the over five hours of effort, and to go to the chef's restaurant instead.

I’ve been informed that Rockstar are releasing/showing gameplay footage of RDR2 tonight. Which will probably fail to mention the Wells-Fargo cards you can purchase to top up your horse, gunz etc. Hmm. Wonder if horse glitching will be a thing. Hello everyone. I'm at work today. it's my Friday as per. Watched Better Call Saul on the commute. Good start to the series. I heart Mike. Played a bit of GTA last night and downloaded Mafia III. I may have attempted a car glitch just at the point my pals PSN ran out so it failed miserably. They really do proper kick you once it runs out. It was like a minute past midnight.

Hello
I deliberately span someone on Grans Tiramisu last night. It was neither big nor clever but it was warranted, so that's fine. There are only so many times you can squeeze me off the road before there are consequences.
Its raining rather nicely here, I look forward to a decent night sleep for the first time in 2 months. Perhaps tomorrow I will be less cranky* and my brain will start working again.**
In Sinister War Dollies news, I've been building a swamp***. It is going quite well. I am at the stage where I have finished the reeds and I am now onto the banks and surrounding ground. For this I use dried herbs, reptile substrate and sand. I am the coolest.
* I absolutely will not ** It absolutely will not *** A 1:54 scale model of Washington DC. MAGA! U.S.A! U.S.A!**** **** This is satire

Great to see some commentators BTL on the Guardian think Amipal is on crack.

Lunch was cheese sandwich due to opening the fridge and not finding much inside it.
We already had the absolutely pissing it down bit yesterday afternoon, it's pleasantly cool and damp here.
In other news, I've finally booked my flight on Sunday to visit my mum. Mr Tent Rooster and the cat will be left to fend for themselves during this time. I'm excited to find out who's eaten whom by the end.

What the hell is reptile substrate when it is at home? When you're finished with your spare reptiles, you grind them up into a tasty substrate. Perfect for kids! Oh wait, that's post-brexit. Its just coconut bark and bits that are ground up and used on the bottom of reptile and invertebrate* enclosures.

Lovely and cool here in Sheffield, no rain though. Got some Stellas chilling in the fridge and haven't drunk booze since Sunday night. Lasagna for dinner.
