Working from home again today, weather is lovely too. Rolling - I tend to do the standard solo, most of the LTMs have failed to hold my interest.
Baby babyfark has a teddy picnic today, I doubt anyone can beat that.

TuffersYour rendition of YMCA was awful. Just terrible. Like a stuck pig. Morning all. Have to say St. Paul's was absolutely breathtaking. Any photos of mine will not do it justice. Went up onto the roof where the view was equally stunning. Then down into the crypt to pay respects to Wellington and Nelson.

First school run of the season. In mid August? Yup, we have a totally separate education system up here. No point extending the summer holiday into September, i.e. the beginning of winter. Looking forward to a spot of Fortnite later as I am home looking after a sick kid. I like the timed events, especially the sniper and rocket launcher ones. Less twitch shooting, more hiding in bushes while your opponents kill each other. The new heavy sniper rifle is a lot of fun too. I have not had a drink for nearly 2 weeks. Uncharted territory. Don;t recommend it. |

I tried playing Juice Eggs: Mankind are Divs last night. It was somehow even more boring than Mafia III. Deleted it.
Went back to Grans Tiramisu. Bathurst again, qualified 18th because I didn't bother trying to improve my already set qualy from the other day. Game reckoned I should come 3rd. Exactly how game? I'm 18th. Finished 14th, not an interesting race.
Before I went to bed I decided to up my game on the qualy, so I switched cars from the Porsche GT3 to the Ford GT (which is faster but has worse brakes and is a bit less predictable coming out of corners) and managed to tumble my time from a frankly awful 2:14 to a 2:09, which would have gotten me much closer to the front end.
My right ear still has a weird noise in it, but I can only hear it when everything is quiet such as when one is trying to sleep. Thanks body.
