Had a productive weekend of Witchering and have now finished the Hearts of Stone expansion. It’s a solid story, although the obvious highlight is Geralt getting a sweet new pair of glasses.

I couldn't be bothered to play games, so binge watched Narcos instead.
Had a truly terrible Sunday roast down the pub yesterday, soggy roast potatoes and watery, flavourless pork.

It's Monday and I'm running late. Triffic.
Games. Mostly battlefield 4 big maps fixing sfuff and shooting.
Installed Fallout 4 late last night.
I'm in the bunker post attack but that's all that happened. Had to go to bed.
I'm still not convinced by G74's advice regarding being on hard but we shall see.

Morning,
I saw the Thor film on Friday. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get into the humour at first, but I got there in the end. Fully worth all four of the stars I'm awarding it.
Met a few mates for drinks in Edinburgh on Saturday. If anyone finds themselves in that neck of the woods, and enjoys craft beer, the Salt Horse comes highly recommended.
Spent Sunday playing Yakuza Kiwami and waiting for my hangover to pass.

Monday,
Played a couple of hours of FF7 last night, then replayed the same section as the game crashed and I hadn't saved. Reading BabyFarts post about a substandard roast really puts things in perspective though. 2017 and we still haven't eradicated the blight of a bad roast. I weep for humanity

Hi! Up in that London to see Young Frankenstein. Very good, not quite The Producers good, but absolutely four star 🌟 juvenile boob jokes abound, good songs, all of that. Musical theatre, isn’t it, hmmm?
Are there any actual good pubs/bars anywhere around Covent Garden? They all seem to be awful. I’ve never found anywhere I want to go back to. Not helped by the fact it was far too cold to be wandering about looking and we were down Strand end.
GWR are the absolute pits.

Pablo had a bit of "chav wins lottery" vibe about him. I would like to see more detail into how the whole operation works, like for example following a shipment from Columbia all the way to where a city trader in New York snorts a line off a stripper's boob. |

Bought Grand Tiramisu on the blackest of Fridays and spent a lot of the weekend playing it. Its easily the best racing game on the PS4, not that there was much in the way of competition. The people you end up playing online are mostly bellends.
This you knew.
Me and Mrs Zord built a fancy headboard for our bed because thats the kind of crazy free-wheeling life we lead.
I've bought everyone's Christmas presents except Old Man Zord, because he is a right bastard to buy for. How many power tools does one man need?
This coming week I will be mostly panicking that the year is nearly done and I have more work to do in a month than I normally do in 3 months.

MGSV update!
I completed the mission extracting some children with a surprising S rank, despite restarting at checkpoint maybe 8 times. In the end I got a rocket launcher dropped in and used the kids as bait for the chopper so I could get a clean shot. Once that was done taking out the rest of the lads was no problem.
Then the game decided to start killing all of my base staff with some goddamn mystery infection. I'm only now coming back to almost full strength.
Oh, and one final thing. I was on an FOB mission, had accidentally set off an alarm when I hit a mine and got spotted. I'd taken most of the enemies out and was hidden by the core. The guy was on the radio just saying they'd lost sight of me so were about to stand down. Then the platform owner joined in and it reset me back to the fucking edge of it. All the guards I'd put to sleep woke back up and I was fucked for ammo and my silencers were breaking. I was furious.
I like the idea of the other person being able to join in and defend it, but it's a bit shit when you've gone through most of the platform and it sends you back to the start.

Games - I basically spent the whole weekend doing nothing but somehow didn’t play hardly any games. Bit of Mario odyssey working through the weaker levels and coming up on the really cool one that has already been spoiled for me several times.
Other things that matter - not really.
