Morning!
I'm so happy that I don't have to shave just because the in-laws are visiting.
Breakfast: coffee + dipping into the huge jar of hazelnut cream spread (a local speciality inspired by and surpassing nutella) I lugged home in my suitcase when I visited my mum. Makes up for all the inconveniences of travelling.
I'm still very sorry and thoroughly ashamed for talking about games yesterday. So much that I shall do it again: after the Nintendo Direct got postponed, inevitably various information is leaking out, and there is evidence that Civilization VI is coming to the Switch this autumn! Squeeeee!! I last played... III, I think? It's been a while. I'm excited for that.

It's 'Back, sack and crack', or so Crankcaller tells me. I told you to keep that to yourself. Saw the neighbour out the back and had a chat about the fence. Decent guy. Who knew. Games. More BFV beta. It's very pretty. Would like to see it on a pc. Destiny 2. Confused. Was playing the computer and I went into a room and there seemed to be other folk killing the baddies. I think they were other folk. I was revived a couple of times. |

For lunch I'm getting in on that new ham & egg craze. With baguette. That's because I'd forgotten that I had already bought eggs when I bought more eggs. Now I've got too many eggs. On the other hand there's no such thing as too many eggs.
Plan for the afternoon: taking wrong size IKEA bed base apart to return to store, ordering correct size and spending another £35 on delivery. Sigh.

Hello all.
Fantastic evening out last night. A couple of pints of nut-brown-ale sunk at the pub, before walking down to Bincho (Japanese yakitori restaurant). Me and the mates, the Bincho Boyz! Ahem.
I ordered all the food - chicken thighs, chicken hearts, chicken livers, pork belly, tempura sea bream... there was some rice and miso soup involved too. And some premium Japanese lager to boot.
Did I need the rum I had when I got home? Probably not.
