Switch online starts 18th September. $19.99 per year. Very reasonable. Someone tell Sony.

I can see the family membership for £31.39 p.a. being popular. You can club together with seven other people, no proof of relations required.

You can club together with seven other people, no proof of relations required. I've got a Spotify family deal like that. All my family and not any of my friends, no siree. If 5 of you with switches pay me a tenner I'll sort it out for you. Don't need to thank me.

At least they give you free games (sometimes they're good). Nintendo currently is allowing 10 (might be more?) free NES games and some games will allow cloud saves. It's just a cash grab really, some reviewed have said they'll add N64/ GameCube etc. But I have my doubts..

Nintendo currently is allowing 10 (might be more?) free NES games and some games will allow cloud saves. It's just a cash grab really, some reviewed have said they'll add N64/ GameCube etc. But I have my doubts.. They promised 20 actually, but only named 10 titles. They also said they'd think about including SNES games. It's all very confused and very Nintendo. I don't mind paying for better server infrastructure (as long as it's notably improved), but being able to have access to a good part of their back catalogue would make it a lot more palatable. Particular since they've said that there wouldn't be a Virtual Console, I think that's where the rumours for N64/GameCube games being included in the future are coming from. The postponed Nintendo Direct has now been rescheduled for tomorrow evening, and I expect some kind of information but I'm not holding my breath (of the wild) either. It's equally charming and annoying how scatterbrained they can be.

Celebrating by sharing a bottle of Merlot in The Lion in Pagham, having beaten the 10 mph speed limit on foot at the caravan site.
Had to run it twice as my wife wanted it on video...

I usually crack open the Merlot before I smash the speed limit rather than after, but to each their own.

I usually just get smashed on Merlot. Can't really see what speed limits have to do with it.
