toolio2010 said: It's snowing hard and fucking cold. Winter is early. Calm down Jack London. Christ, snow in Sept. That's grim. Enjoy the shiny new tablet. I've vaguely contemplated the same tablet. My Nvidia shield is getting long in the tooth and sluggish. Just like its owner. I want hdmi out though which very few tablets give you nowadays.

Isn’t Toolio in Canada? I’m lead to believe it’s basically winter all year round. Apart from the unbearably hot summers. He lives at the foot of some giant Rocky Road biscuit I'm lead to believe from previous postings. The The have just come on Spotify. I'm now upset I missed the tour.

Cranky! I thought it was Professor Falken from Wargames? Can't imagine Begbie saying that in any case.
OTTM: Sod all.

Uh, uh, tiddles, what you see on these screens up here is a fantasy; a computer-enhanced hallucination. Those blips aren't real.

Too-too-tooltio lives in one of those log cabins from a Bob Ross snowy winter scene.
Morning all. Great start to the morning dealing with some absolutely first-class screaming-abdabs from the boy.
TV: finished The Trip to Spain last night. Always a pleasure joining Rob and Steve on their holidays.
OTTM: a RLM on what the new Picard-based Star Trek series should be.

This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like Crankcaller.* *So I read on his website. "Spank the Crank.com".

Toolio is one half of Boards of Canada, and lives in a flat share with Rocky Balboa. Do none of you even bother reading his posts?

Morning troupe.
I googled Toolio's Space Goat beer a while back, to a brewery in Montana. Thinking that would mean bears, wolves and permafrost it was a surprise to find it is a few degrees further South than chez Gong, here in sunny east Anglia.
Probably about the same latitude as Plymouth... explains a lot.

Morning all! Went to Jurassic Park in Concert yesterday and it was awesome. Today, back at work. Far from awesome. amipal, apologies for not replying sooner, busy day off yesterday. We're just looking at Tokyo as we're only there a week (before moving on to New Zealand, then Singapore*). We basically have one day left to fill now, already have Mount Fuji, Hakone and a day for museums and temples (along with other things I've forgotten) booked. Ganes! None. Logged WoW briefly to see how the guild did without me for the raid. Basically they did better. I'm boiling this down to knowing tactics more after last week rather than my absence. *Not even trying to hide the holiday honeymoon boasting, looking forward to it too much.

Probably about the same latitude as Plymouth... explains a lot. Missoula (Space Goat Beer) is at 46 degrees 51 minutes north, Plymouth 50 degrees 22 minutes, so Plymouth is approximately 240 miles further north. Toolio doesn't live there though. It's difficult to be certain from his posts, though my guess would be that he lives somewhere near the border of British Columbia and Alberta. If I had to guess more specifically, I'd go for somewhere on BC5 Southern Yellowhead Highway, possibly Valemount, though I might be some way off with this. For the record, Valemount is at 52 degrees 50 north, so about 170 miles further north than Plymouth, about the same latitude as Walsall.

Hi! I have a myxoid cyst on my hand. It’s overrated. My synovial fluid is making a determined bid for freedom. God, I’m thirsty.

Having thought about this a little more, I think it's more likely that Toolio lives in or near Hinton in Alberta, on Route 16 Yellowhead Highway. Latitude 53 degrees 24 mintues, about the same as latitude as Macclesfield, and therefore they are likely to share a very similar climate.
