So... How 'bout them games huh? You may regret this because . . . last night was raid night! We breezed through the normal raid in a mere 90 minutes, giving us another hour for heroic! Again, things went swimmingly with us equalling last weeks performance. That leaves us with a full night for progression on Monday. 3 hours of dying repeatedly on the same boss? Yes please! Also managed an hour on Super Mario Bros. 3 where I remembered all the secrets from my youth, meaning I could skip to world 8 in no time. I'm currently working my way through this zone. 2D platforming at it's finest. |

I played Fortnite badly on the Xbox one. I then had a dabble on the pc and killed lots of people. Consequently I have begun upgrading my pc, I am sick of being bullied by those xbox tweens.
Bit of Luke Cage too, thankfully getting near the end of the series.

Octogenarian Treasurer, still on Ophilia's second chapter, mainly wrapped up all side quests in town and interacted with everyone (i.e., robbed them blind), now on my way to boss battle.
In other news, I bought the Switch online subscription. Discovered that one can use gold coins, got a fiver off that way. Noice! Went straight to the menu and manually backed up save data to the cloud. Skyrim's took a while. Had a quick look at the NES games, very nice, wish I hadn't bought a lot of them on Virtual Console. I believe* that SNES, N64 and GameCubegames, maybe Wii games, are coming, and this is something I've been wanting Nintendo to do for a long time - a rental service for their back catalogue.

Games you say?
Dived back into No Mans Sky - last gamesave was a week ago, and I was on a planet with many players all searching for Hex Cores as part of some mission. Target was 25, and I had found 14. I logged in last night to find myself on same planet, but instead of teeming with players, it was full off huge bases they'd built. No Hex cores anywhere. Hmmmm. I bravely stealthed around a few bases until I found one with a hydroponics lab stuffed full of Gavitino plants, and stuffed my pockets with as many Grav balls as I could carry, while expecting to get a laser beam up the jacksie at any time. Got back to my ship, and hot-footed it off planet as fast as I could. Immediately got intercepted by pirates (did I mention my purloined balls?) but with so much stolen loot I was in no mood to party, so murderised them as soon as they got in range. First trade terminal I found and sold the lot for a humungous profit.
Kind of feel guilty for the poor sod who'se base I ransacked, but then they might have been out ransacking someone else's.
