Also, who's the YouTuber out of interest? Andrew Eisen. He's got a podcast/YouTube show called Molehill Mountain that I'm looking forward to every week. Not everything he cares about interests me (and no doubt vice versa), but his stuff is quite entertaining.

That was a hell of a reply, I did enjoy the pure wandering around but it's beginning to get a bit tiresome for me now, I wander around don't see anything, don't get anywhere and it takes bloody ages. The one thing I've bounced off completely is the Korok seeds, I just do not notice where the fuckers are hiding 99% of the time. Not sure if I've got to Robbie yet so I'll do that. I downloaded a guide so I might use that for a while to achieve something , I'll then undoubtedly get sucked into it again. It's just a slight funk. That's why I would recommend setting yourself some targets that you can work towards. The towers are good for that because they are easy to spot. A lot of action is also associated with the main roads, and they will lead you to the stables where you can get, among other things, hints for the location of the memories, so it's worth just sticking to the road instead of wandering off into the wilderness. Do you use the shrine sensor, btw? If you do that will help you a great deal. Have you met Kass yet (the bird with the accordion)? If you hear accordion music make a beeline for it. Also remember that you can enter Hyrule Castle any time, and it is absolutely fantastic. You won't trigger the final battle until you enter the Inner Sanctum, so you can have fun exploring it as soon as you feel ready.

This is not the place to talk about games.
Diplomacy is a cruel mistress. Mostly to other players at the moment, which makes a change. In other news, forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It’s been 25 years since I last went to confession.

Hi. I played a bit more GTF5 last night - it really is stunning. Still haven't worked out how to keep the story moving - keep finding myself doing lame side missions by accident.

I think I have all the towers unlocked, apart from the one in the fire bit, because I just get consistently mullered. I've mostly been wandering blindly across the wilds, although I bought the expansion not long ago and from the places I've walked thing, I appear to have mostly repeated the same l shape throughout the map about 5x which is hilarious, I have no idea how or why. I've never even been to hyrule, only got one beast left to get I think so working toward that. The last thing I did was beat the desert one. I've done that one, the water one and the flying one.

You are doing well then, nothing to worry about. Re: Korok seeds, if you got the extension you can get the Korok mask. I've been quite successful finding them - maxed out on gear slots a long time before I got it. However, the mask is incredibly useful and led me to the ones I'd never noticed in a million years. And since you can see where you've been already and have most of the map, take a good look at areas you haven't visited yet. Since the only way to give a name to a geographical feature is by visiting it you should look at what appears to be interesting on the map and just go there. The map even shows Korok stone patterns, so that's an easy one.

Pretty well. I used it on a free trial when I was sofa bound with an ankle injury a year or so ago. There's a lot of good games on there. Almost too much choice, I ended up flitting between several I never finished. It's where I finished the last of us and completed all the sly racoon games (they were genuinely a lot of fun). There's loads on there and a lot of them hold up well. Pretty sure they've added PS4 games recently too

They've just announced today the ps4 and PS2 games can be downloaded to the console instead of streaming. I'm using it on a laptop mostly. I can't see me paying full price for it though. 12.99 is just too dear.

Mrs Crank came home from her folks with some cooked streaky bacon. A few slices. It wasn't crispy enough for my liking so chopped it up and threw it in a wee single egg omlette pan we have. Too much for the size of pan really. Mixed it up and moved it round as it heated. I then added a beaten egg. Ended up with a sort of Spanish omlette but instead of potato it was bacon layers. Take that General Franco!

Take that General Franco! What the absolute fuck. A "single egg omlette pan"!? Who makes a single egg omlette? It's got to be a 2 egg omlette minimum and I mean the bare minimum. My go-to omlette egg ratio is 5 egg whites, 2 egg yolks - because I'm not a fat bap.

In reality it's been more of a pain in the ass so I'll probably put it back in again. Thanks for all the tips, I'm at the airport so will be making use of this information over the weekend!

Fired up Dark Souls for the first time in about a month. Lasted 10 minutes. I think I'm done with it.
