Morning,
Games. Helped a pal do deliveries in GTA and then more Sleeping Dogs. Met Uncle Po and got my new apartment. Seems a bit nicer.
TV. None. Seems to have inherited a train pal on the way home so no TV. Need to throw new train pal under a train. The station is too small to avoid.
Off to a funeral today. I'm sure this will give false hope to my colleagues who may think I'm going for an interview. Not bothered about funeral as she was an old racist but need to go to show face.

Apprentice - yes
On the apprentice last night the 'actor' ran into the common problem all actors face of not being able to move and talk at the same time. Not many people know but that's actually why in films all the actors are played by trained monkeys in disguise while the actors stand motionless to read their lines.

I am working from home today but the cleaning lady is round at the moment so I am locked in the office working when I should be making a grand breakfast. Middle class problems etc...
Penguin stabbed someone for the third episode of Gotham in a row, but it was not a random black guy this time. Better Call Saul delivered another great episode too. I have also had emails back about my motherboard/cpu and had to send (and re-send) loads of photos off for that, so hopefully they will replace or refund soon.

Working on a halloween themed podcast. Werewolves, vamps, ghosts and UFOs are all mentioned in antiquity. Some quite interesting stuff...
Anyone able to report on AC Odyssey? Have read some reviews by folk who are not too impressed. Apparently there's a furore over XP grinding. Having played WoT I know this all too well....

I have 'the lurgy' today. I feel this may be divine retribution for being a snitch. Also, the Housing Officer was around yesterday canvassing the other residents. He even tried to speak with 'the Jehovans' who claimed to be late for a meeting and walked away from him, only to return the moment he pissed off. Not very Christian of them.

We're thinking of getting a cleaner, despite the fact we are against zero hour contracts which they will no doubt be on, but we're fundamentally lazy, champagne socialists and probably snowflakes as well so that's ok. Pass the avocado.

Yeah I empty and fill the dishwasher and wash all the pans which can't go in the dishwasher. Mrs Fark gets all the stuff off the floor to allow hoovering. Any unsightly stuff (dirty clothes, used skag needles) are taken out of sight also. I was against this extravagance as would prefer to spend the money on other things but she has had the cleaner for years and I have to say it does make things easier now we have a kid and can't go out and have fun anyway. |
