The Destiny 2 download was huge, in excess of 100 GB I'm sure. But I have it installed now and will hopefully get to play come nap time for the kid.

Well that was strange, played 4 hours of fallout 76 and enjoyed it, did some exploring, did a fun quest, shot things, got loot, crafting mats and then upgraded guns, quite a pleasant gameplay loop.
Will be playing again tonight to see if it was a fluke

Morning,
TV. Some more Community S1.
Games. RDR2: jailed the lady gunslinger, battered a couple of big lads, freed the guy in chains for the clue and then decided to shoot him. Went to Rhodes, found the place where the $20 glitch is and hummed and hawed about doing it. Went back to camp and did the attack on the hut colm was supposed to be staying at. Need to kill some big animals*
*No animals were harmed in the making of this game ya daft peta activist.

As much as I'm enjoying RDR2, the controls can be a bit fiddly. Greet passers-by, change camera focus, ride off cliff. Or When prompted to press R2 to aim, hold down R2 instead, thereby accidentally shooting npc you're supposed to be helping.

OTTM. Up at Mrs Cranks folks fixing their Nas box. What I was told was wrong and what is possibly wrong are not the same thing. Ffs.

Hello all. This afternoon I'm roasting a chicken which will have been marinaded in buttermilk for 18 hours. I will keep you updated on progress, naturally.
No games last night, just more Arrested Development. Because I've watched it so many times, I know exactly what is coming up, whether lines or facial expressions. It's brilliant.
And then more Jack Ryan, getting towards the end of the series. It has definitely grown on me, and I've been warming up to Greer. But I reckon a different actor may have made the character better. 4*

I’ve been watching some people play The Quiet Man for extra life. It’s unbelievable. Awful FMV scenes, completely non-sensical plot, seemingly revolving around you trying to save/romance a woman played by the same actress as your dead mother, and utterly terrible beat em up gameplay.
The game currently has no audio or subtitles as the protagonist is supposed to be deaf, despite the fact he is able to hold full conversations by lip reading people, even when he isn’t looking at them. They are releasing the audio in a weeks time as free DLC.
It really is something else.

Did quite a bit last night, rescued Sean, started the train heist, ran off with the oil wagon, but got pursued by the law and inadvertently drove it straight into a ravine.
I love this game, it’s the best

Completed the first mission in Destiny 2, it is well polished and smooth so far, but definitely one for short 30 minute bursts or so. They certainly haven't steered away from a very well trodden path with this one. Story is a load of nonsense.

Killed it Scuba.
One problem with Netflix is the inevitable Christmas episode. Obviously this fits in well when watched syndicates on television, but not so much when streamed at the beginning of November.
The Octonauts have just saved Christmas.

Currently making a chicken, chorizo, puy lentil casserole thing.
Got a 70s FM radio playlist blasting out on Spotify. Makes you want to be laying in the sun by a pool somewhere in Santa Monica full of Quaaludes.

I've played an absolute butt load of RDR2 today, working my way through the third chapter and having a great time.
So far there is far fewer side quests than I was anticipating, haven't had any real big ones in this chapter at all.
Unlocking some useful stuff now though, went back to valentine and took down the business in the back of the drs and also did another robbery, the guy let me steal everything in his shop- I now have enough ammunition for a small army.
Having the best time GOATOTY by a mile. With breath of the wild last year, we've been spoilt.
