I know that not everyone agrees with his assessment of Fallout 76, but last night I watched a video by Max Shockley aka DreamcastGuy that had some interesting information regarding that game's development. It involves a bunch of pissed Bethesda employees: I watched that, some of his assertions were a bit dubious also this is really after the fact stuff From what I've seen, practically all the people dumping on the game start out with "I'm a big Fallout Fan" and then generally criticise it for not being Fallout 5 Not to say that it is perfect by any means, but I've only had 1 disconnect and the framerate is great for me. The "gameplay" is subjective but I'm enjoying it, the best description I've seen is that it's like Norman's Sky, relaxing and time consuming |

The "gameplay" is subjective but I'm enjoying it, the best description I've seen is that it's like Norman's Sky, relaxing and time consuming I can't really comment as I haven't played it, though I have seen footage that was quite bad in terms of the game freezing or disconnecting, but there were obviously unrealistic expectations. From the trailers it was quite clear that this is a little spin-off project, and Todd Howard being largely uninvolved doesn't surprise me at all. Anyway, I thought it was interesting. |

Evening.
Quite a quiet day here. Went a walk with the child munching satsumas. Well, whatever citrus fruit "easy peelers" are. Really tasty at the moment.
Been looking at switch stuff - feeding the pump. Ive arranged a loan of MarioKart from my pals g/f when I get it.
Looked at a video of the Warframe switch port. Rocket League is currently 9 quid as well.
Going to start S2 of The Deuce and have a beer.
Monday can do one.

Watched the omen and drank some wood buffalo brewing blueberry vanilla ale. Cute can as well.
Wife set up a cat teepee, don't ask. No Dahl as no split yellow lessor chains to be had. Veggie sausage stew though?

Lamb shank dinner, roast potatoes, veg & yorks puds have left me feeling full and sleepy.
Bit more Octopus Sealslapper, arrived in a new town, always ready to rob the inhabitants of their nuts. No-nut November isn't for this game. It's like stealing candy from a child, which I'm doing as well. I won't get much for that stuffed toy, but every little bit helps, eh? I hope this isn't one of those games that punishes you at the end for behaving like a complete arse. Still looking for a suitably levelled dungeon dojo to train up my B Team.

Breakfast: 1 tablet, Rhubard yoghurt, 12 tablets, 2 slices toast and marmite, big mug of Darjeeling ... because of the bloody tablet regime I woke at 5 am and ablute to the sound shipping forecast then through to the alternative reality of Farming Today - then eat my sumptuous repast to the news on the World Service, which is far less insuler than any national news. Every. single. fucking. day... it's only varied on those days I have to take oral liquid morphine ...
