St Pancreas and Victoria are on opposite sides of London, from wherest is there a fast/slow train pairing that goes into those two respectively? If we were talking Pancreas/Paddington or Victoria/Waterloo I could see it. I could tell you that, but Felice seems suddenly shy about his whereabouts, ever since he realised I have a spreadsheet and a big map with pins in it showing Bloggers' locations based on clues in their posts. I am about 40% certain you're joking about the map.

It's brightened up a bit here now. Also, Walkers' Hot Chicken Wings crisps have made the shit crisps list.
Felice - let us know the most expensive pint you come across in that there London, I'm sure I've breached the £6 mark last time somewhere around City Thameslink station.
The dishwasher hums away in the kitchen as I type this.

Hello Sometimes I wish I could abandon society and go and live a life of total isolation in a cabin in the woods somewhere. Then I read Toolio's posts and think maybe it's not such a good idea.... Grim reality www.cbc.ca/amp/1.4922567

My milk is delivered by a man in a Ford Transit-based milk "float" - though I have seen some of the older electric ones buzzing about.
Now let me tell you all about the chilli I made yesterday. My goodness it was good. Leftover roast beef diced, cooked with some fried chorizo and red wine, a bit of cumin and coriander. So so good, I even had some for lunch today with a jacket potato.

I live less than 10 minutes from a station where you can catch a fast train to London, the only fly in the ointment being that it takes 6 hours.

I'm 20 minutes from a station where it takes me just over two hours to get to London on the fast train from Sheffield. The only fly in the ointment being it's in Sheffield.

London's basically on my doorstep. The only fly in the ointment being that the station doesn't have a M & S to stock up on Gamma Ray for the trip.
