Christ. I'm roughly about £2k That's a fortune. This is the point someone with a Union flag on their twitter account joins in to tell us "you choose to travel be train. They're heavily subsidised. You could drive" etc. Where's whatalark when you need him!? I chose to take a low paid job working for a charity about 5 mins from home. 3k is a mind boggling amount to me to spend on getting to work. Respect to those that can handle a long commute by public transport, especially those in Delhi

Hello
Games - I got killed three times by the King's pet in DS2 so sacked it off and went back to Earthbound on the 2DS. I'm in a real funk at the moment. Most of my gaming time is spent looking at the stores, desperately trying to find something that appeals. Maybe I've finally grown up.

Football: Birmingham lost to the league leaders, by a single goal. Finished with 10 men. Some positives, but not enough to induce a false optimism, so that in itself is another positive. Didn't actually have a shot on target. Road closures meant I got home *quite* late. In other news, I may book a holiday to Norway so I can go hunting wolf hunting. I really hate the damn animals, and would happily finish a few off for the giggle.

Hi. No games because I was doing service to my community. Discovered my whisky is not Glenlivet 12 but Glenfiddich 12. A quick google suggests that makes it considerably more prestigious (almost a tenner). I am definitely playing a game tonight.

The sophisticated taste is just to help obfuscate the true purpose of alcohol. Service to your community? That's clearly bait for a response about being court mandated. Do you count staying offline as a service to the games community?

Hello Games - I got killed three times by the King's pet in DS2 Are you doing all the DLC as well? I haven't decided yet whether or not I will on this play through.* *I definitely will. Hello Maybe I've finally grown up. That probably wouldn't be the first explanation I would reach for.

However, given your avatar, I am honoured that this was your 69th post.

Do you count staying offline as a service to the games community? I don't, because I don't really play online. Don't have the cans for it. I am getting a mild Souls pump from reading these DS2 updates though. Only played Demon's, DS1 and Bloodborne. Is DS2 worth a look in those circumstances? Had assumed not, given its placing on the List.

Morning champs.
After some thoroughly depressing news yesterday, I was in a bit of a funk to do anything last night. I did get through a couple more Rome episodes though.

I haven't played any of the other Souls games, and have never managed to get into Bloodbourne. DS2 is brilliant, but then I've played fewer other games than most people on here. I will get round to DS3 sooner or later.

Shen - I'm still on my first playthrough after taking a long break. I think I only have a couple of hours left. I've stopped playing probably though, stopped dodging and just using Havel's shield to block everything. The platinum is so close but so far away.
Rolling - if you enjoyed the other games then you'll like DS2. I don't think it's as good as the others but strangely I've put more time into it. Even bad Souls is good Souls.

England actually giving it a bit of a go in the cricket. Dammit, they’ve done this to me before. Just as I start to believe, they’ll collapse like a soggy soufflé.

Doesn't the employer do that? They should send a statement around March to you showing what they declare to HMRC. I know I received one for my BUPA cover.

Fiery, It took me 360 hours over about 7 months to get the Platinum, and quite a lot of walkthroughs, strategy guides and youtube. It was the first game of that type I'd ever played though, and the first PS4 game that I put a lot of time into. It was worth it. It was only when I easily beat off an invader recently that I realised I have -- very slowly after a lot of effort -- become quite passably middling at the game.
I still have a full time permanent job, though I am now single.
I didn't like The King's Pet, though I seem to remember it was easier after reading a strategy guide, and took two or three sessions to beat it. (I often find what is impossible one day is merely very very difficult the following day.)
I hardly like to ask . . . any news on Dark Lurker?

On my commute to work this morning I saw a squirrel, 2 jays, 3 ducks, several endearing dogs and a raven. It’s like a fucking Disney movie. Four stars.

At least it was Malan, not Root. Though I think hope may have been uncalled for today anyway.
