Shen - I haven't been back to Darklurker since I picked it back up. I think I'd had 5-6 goes at her before then. I don't particularly like the boss fights, I usually take in as much help as I can. 360 hours is impressive - I'm around 60 I think and approaching level 200.
For the platinum I think I need to do the dlc, Darklurker and grind for sunlight medals. Then apparently it's fairly trivial - grind the Rotten to get into NG2 for the last spells and whatnot?

Last night was made miserable by the second power cut in a fortnight, see yesterday's live blog for details. I had some time ago seen a remark from someone in Nigeria who pointed out how he found that the Switch unintentionally is perfect for the country's frequent power cuts. Now I found myself in the same situation. They managed to get everything back on track eventually, but this time no text message or phone call to say what the problem was because the PR people had all gone home. Dinner at midnight, lovely. In other news, I may book a holiday to Norway so I can go hunting wolf hunting. I really hate the damn animals, and would happily finish a few off for the giggle. No playing Okami or Twilight Princess for you, then. If our ancestors had taken that attitude to our dogs' ancestors we wouldn't have them |

I didn't grind the Rotten at all, but that doesn't mean it isn't the best way for something. The grind for Sunlight medals is appalling (I wasn't good enough to get them properly, so had to farm from Falconers in Things Betwixt) but it's too late to back out by then. NG2 seemed notably easier than NG. I think you have to get back into Drangleic Castle to buy the final spells from the Chancellor in NG2. Then feel immense pride and don't play any games for a couple of weeks.
*** Spoilers***: You don't have to get into the coffin that delivers you to the large barren snowy plains with horses in the icy DLC. That section seems unnecessary. *End Spoilers*
Sheep gives good advice (only about this, nothing else).

It takes me 45 minutes to cycle to work, or 50 minutes on the bus. Not because I am a fast cyclist, but because public transport in this country has been rogered senseless by funding cuts and the absence of joined up thinking. Bus chat.

Cycling to work is the best thing I ever did. Takes me about 20 minutes door to door. Sadly I've fucked something up and as I know nothing about bikes I'm back on the bus this week. Hi,
last night i scraped right through the bottom of the destiny 2 barrel by visiting a 'secret room' on Nessus, saw it, there was a shiny yellow pyramid and no point being there so I left. #games.
Also after my close shave yesterday I realised that the lower half of my face is now glowing, soft and supple with zero wrinkles or blemishes, whilst the upper half of my face is a hideous weather torn corpse-like eyesore, so I embarked on a rejuvenation evening. Which was a nice whisky in a hot bath with one of Mrs Bahookies facemask things. Today I have already had 2 pints of rehydrating water and feel like some of the wrinkles might have disappeared overnight.
