Astronomy talkDuring the mornings recently has anyone noticed a really, really bright star low in the sky even when no other stars are about. Usually near the moon? Might be a planet or orbiting alien invader? That's a street light |

Might be a planet or orbiting alien invader? Venus, or "the morning star" as it is sometimes known. May also be Jupiter, which can appear very bright due to the four major moons around it. |

I think it's Venus, there's no scientific basis for it, but it is a fact.

New wintry PUBG map added today for PC players in "test".

Crank- I'm jealous you get to play Mario odyssey from the beginning. Hands down the most "pure fun" I've had on a game in recent memory. It feels an appropriate Christmas game too.
I'm also jealous you get to use the dock for the first time. I guarantee you'll put it in and out the dock several times, as it's the coolest thing ever.
Make sure you get a cover though or you'll scratch it.

I've just come back from a housing association do. 30 minutes of glad-handing and when I get home there is a £25 Sainsburys voucher in the Xmas card. I don't even work for them. That and my passport, same day. Good times.

I put a tempered(?) glass screenguard on it as soon as it was out the box. The girl in Game near my work who's the Nintendo person advised it. Got a pack of two on black Friday. I've got a carry case as well to keep it in.
Thanks to Mario I'm slightly behind on my Friday chores today. Will need to clean the bathroom while the child is at Rainbows.

Smash botherers! tremendous stuff. absolutely dripping with content. That game awards was a bit of a damp squid. Not really much of interest announced. Smash botherers: I have successfully re-arranged all the cables around my Switch and plugged in the adapter and the Smash GameCube controller. There's a lot of cable but it works! Now I just need to get used to the controls... that might take a while. I love the intro. Agreed on the game awards. But the Joker from Persona 5 in Smash, didn't see that coming. Sadly, Octopus was robbed. At least RDR 2 didn't steamroll everything in its way. |
