So no one told you life was gonna be this way. Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A. Never mind. It's Friday

I don't believe in Santa Claus ...
NASA doesn't do much for it's credibility by 'tracing' this fairy tale fraud.

0545 the child woke from her slumbers. 5 fucking 45. It's not even Xmas yet.
No wonder I'm too tired for games.

Good practice in escorting Russkies for Biffy, Bully, Boggy, Bumpo, Buffy, Bilbo Baggins, Balin, Belcher, Burper, Benny, Bunny and bloggiesmalla...
The RAF call them the Reindeer Squadron - when the wretched reds fly to close to sensitive installations, they pelt them with snowballs, apart from bloggiesmalla who throws "little shits" at them.
Forgive me; I am so very tired...

0545 the child woke from her slumbers. 5 fucking 45. It's not even Xmas yet. No wonder I'm too tired for games. My alarm goes off at 5.35 am. Last night my brother and I conspired to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory a few times on Fortnite. My favourite was the ending on the ice pond where everyone just skidded around and tried to shotgun each other. I think we managed two second places and a third and fourth as well. I then stayed up late and played the snow map on PUBG and did awful, more awful the later it got and the more scotch was drunk. Then up at the crack of dawn.

5.30 starts are the norm for me. Didn't get back from curryfest til 9.30 and bed bt 1.00. I'm a bit more dozy than normal today but at least have avoided falling asleep on the commute.
It's a bit rich of NASA to be passing off the ISS as santa - what's he doing in space anyway the daft sod - everyone knows he just skims the rooftops. I'm surprised Gatwick isn't claiming the drone delays are due to the man in red casing the joint in readiness for the 24th.

Hello. Last day of school. This evening there will be drunk teachers cackling in pubs throughout the land.
Games. None. Too tired. Fallout from being out the previous night. Possibly a quick Mario shot while Mrs C gets her haircut this morning.
TV. "Beat" - a German thriller on prime video set in the Berlin club scene.
Quiet weekend planned. Mrs Crank and child off to her folks on Sunday morning and I'll follow after work on Monday.

Morning all.
I do so enjoy how Windows completely drops any semblance of user input as soon as memory usage ramps up. A fantastic user experience.
I spent last night installing Office 365 on my partner's Mac. Had to redownload the package twice before I ended up with a valid archive. And then it didn't want to connect to MS to authorise the license.
I want my Amiga back.

I done nuffink much last night. A bit of Deadspace3 on impossible skill level against ultra hard necromorphs, or so-called ultra hard necromorphs.
Watched Wheeler Dealers and a bit of Danny Dyer's Hard Men. The rest is a bit hazy.
Booze: I had quite the show on that account.
As you were.

Morning all.
Today is my Friday and I've been infected with the lurgy. I had two wonderful, sweaty hours of broken sleep last night which was most fun.
I'm absolutely ready to just be finished now.

Second shortest day of the year today (after the last Sunday in March). Also POETC day which is good.
Unfortunately I have some actual work to do this morning.

Morning!
Fallout 76 already reduced to £13 on CDKeys. Worth a punt at that price, or still too much for the buggy piece of shit everyone says it is? I did just buy AC: Origins as it was on sale on Humble for ~£15 so will be giving that a go over the weekend, if it's downloaded by then (63GB on my connection? lol, might be done by New Year).
My night was spent still playing the online Pokemons game I found last week. It's so addictive and can be resumed on my phone too. Technology nowadays, eh? Marvellous.
OTTM? Absolute Radio* censored Fairytale of New York this morning. Doesn't that usually get a pass from the anti- fun brigade?
*Not my choice of station, I'm not important enough to get a say. Believe it or not, even this was branded 'too heavy' by one guy in the office . . .

Believe it or not, even this was branded 'too heavy' by one guy in the office . . . This is all Ed Sheeran's doing. He recently released a cover version with "faggot" removed and thus fueled the debate. Going forward we'll probably have to listen to the chubby cheeked ginger tosser every Christmas instead of what is probably the only actually decent Christmas song.

I too have actual work to do this morning. I’m fucked if i’m doing it, though. Rolled in 45 minutes late with a sausage and egg sarnie and immediately started wasting time on this bollocks. Marvellous.
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.

Fucking bollocks init? I am either unorganised or disorganised, or very possibly both. The head of my department is complaining about 'losing' 2 days next week, and trying to get people to commit to meetings at 4pm on Monday and 8am Thursday. I've got loads of work to get done, and have just had to sign up to prime just to get all my Christmas tat delivered in time. Fairytale of New York is the only decent Christmas song. I blame ed s*eeran for everything. I haven't had any coffee today.
No games

Half Man Half Biscuit’s “It’s cliched to be cynical at Christmas” is the best Christmas song and, if you disagree, that proves that there are at least 2 decent Christmas songs.
