The only thing I actually 110% had to do was press the submit button 3 times. Like a beaten wrestler. There is some other stuff I very much ought to do but it won't result in clients getting fined if I don't do it

Had a Christmas curry with some ex chatterboxers from The Other Place, the first Chatterbox migration back in 2006.
Feeling a little rough this morning but supposed to be working from home.
Bought Mario Rabbids on the estore for £15 and was gifted a code for Pokemon Let’s Go - so that was very nice.

Technically I could do these *waves arm at mountain of paper* in the first week of January, but there’s the real risk I’ll be even less motivated then and that’s going to be a paddlin’ from HMRC. I’ll have another coffee and give it some thought.

'The Lad' a few doors down has quite the potty mouth on him. He walked past 3 burly builders yesterday, and, as he got to his front door shouted 'f**king dirty b**stards' at them. Then jumped in his flat and hid.
Still, I've got to give it to the lad, he's entertaining.
Just as well because it's been a bit quiet around here since several individuals have been 'removed'. Can't think why.

Unless you are processing a 'boxers' fine. In which case, go for it. It's Christmas after all.

I’ve just told a colleague that they’re wrong. Technically that was work. Productive as a motherfucker.
That deserves a banana.
Edit: now eating a banana.
Edit 2: shit, just remembered a client is coming in in 5 minutes. I KNEW there was a reason I actually came in today. Amazing. Professionalism that’s been a joy to watch.

Just headed into one our provider's offices for a meeting and there's this wally holding a banana whilst also managing to stink of eggs and sausages. He better have that HMRC paperwork sorted by now.

I'm confused, is Cobblers' "shit" an exclamation or a bodily function?
I'm working, but also in bed and naked. What I'm saying it, I have a high-powered senior position in a proper legit organisation doing proper legit things, and I am not a sex worker.

I've got a scratchy throat this morning. Christmas lurgy, no doubt. Terrific. So, the plan is to avoid Super Saturday and mainly get the Christmas tat today. Wish me luck. I'm off to raid Smyths. Mr Tent Rooster was getting into the Christmas spirit today by stating that he could do without it and he wished that it was over already. Tidings of comfort and joy.

Games? No.
Xmas songs? Shakey or gtfo.
Working in bed? The absolute best. Ideally, for those days where I can;t do it at home, I;d like a bed installed at work so I could do it permanently, like Yoko Ono or Howard Hughes or someone.

Subconscious, superego, id and physical body, I’ve got the lot ganging up on my conscious mind and I’m very pleased to report that they’re all losing. The only thing you’ve got wrong is that the lake is Woodford Reseve, rather than rum. 23 quid at Sainsbury’s. Bargain.

Killed it. I'm not having lunch as I'm still in bed and as naked as the day your mama conceived you.

Coffee.
Played Elite Dangerous for a while but kept getting kicked off the server. Four stars.
Watched MasterChef final, last episode of The Man in the High Castle season 2 and Greg Lake and Ian Anderson doing Greg's santa song in a church. Now that's what I call a Xmas song.

As the child can now read I'm having to throw out my alarm clock t-shirt with the words "fuck work" on it. It was a gift but has to go.

The G's top games of 2018 rundown is a real anticlimax this year compared to past efforts. Instead of counting down in groups of 5 per day, they put the first draft up 6 months ago ffs. Compare the edge-of-seat music and tv countdowns. Another stake to the heart of the chatting-about-games sector.
