This morning I've festooned my eaves with lights, and in a moment of madness, mowed the lawn. Major food shopping expedition is planned for this afternoon. I have a feeling of dread. Mown the lawn? Madness, it's the time for excessive food, drink and bad TV. Watched running man with Arnie the other night, a Christmas film or just filling the time? |

It took an hour to wrap 7 presents. Mrs Crank straight out of Uni managed a Lush shop. So her wrapping is impeccable and fast. I start to do mine within her peripheral vision and her OCD kicks in and she takes over. I've still to wrap her presents. Will try Sun night to do that. |

Getting the Switch ready for the trip by packing my games, downloading updates and checking out the festive e-shop offers... ...with the result that I now own all three Banner Sagas, Valiant Hearts, Starlink Deluxe with all bells and whistles (! Half price for a good game that came out only recently. I noticed that the toys to life edition is also going cheap everywhere, something for Tuffers jr.?) and Civilization VI. As long as I got battery I won't be bored. Yes, I also bought a powerbank... ... which I might need sooner than I thought. The lights have been flickering twice within the last hour. Western Power Distribution are up to their old tricks. |

Maybe it's just me getting ready for Brexit. Speaking of which, I dropped my phone today and broke my Majora's Mask themed phone case. Like Theresa May it's now weak and wobbly instead of strong and stable. Thanks for the info TENTHEN on starlink. Today i picked up splatoon 2 for the youngest. I'd also intended to pick up botw (for me-ish) , but it wasn't in the argos I was in. No rush, I have plenty in my backlog. But I think it could be a good one to play together, with dad in charge, obvs. Also going to get some extra controllers for some HOT Mario kart 4 player action. That sounds weird reading it back. I was in one of the those Argos that are now in sainsburys. Instead of having botw, there were hundreds of TWATS. In sainsburys, not argos.
The shops are only closed for one day you fucking buffoons*.

I've also dropped several Xmas present hints recently about psvr, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting either/all of: socks, undercrackers, booze, pork products, a look of despair.
