If there’s one thing I love, it’s getting dragged into an 8-10am meeting that I didn’t know about and wasn’t invited to in the first place. Bonus points if that meeting then overruns by forty minutes. Wankers. Was there a banner saying Intervention and everyone told you how what you are doing is affecting them? |

Hi,
Games: At least I have changed the Mario cartridge to the Zelda cartridge. Without shutting down the game. Again. Oops.
Then I realised I was pressing the B button to make Link jump and was surprised when he clung to every vertical surface. As long as I'm not trying to make him perform triple-jumps I should be okay, though.
Then I checked out the Xenoblade sidequest, figured out where I had to go and was debating with myself whether I should skip ahead in time or actually do something useful since it was 3pm in game and I need to wait for nightfall.
Then I realised that I had to put the game away and cook schnitzel and rösti. Tasty.
On Trump's Christmas present to the Holy Land and how to prevent peace on earth and goodwill to all men: it sounds to me as if he's convinced that this is a simple, elegant solution to a complicated problem and he's the first one to have worked it out since he still talks as if he wants to implement the two state solution. Me, I need to stop facepalming before my face gets any flatter.

I have a load of LOTR models that I stripped and am thinking of painting. Army Painter seem a bit cartoony which is OK for zombicide but the Vallejo seem more natural if that makes sense. Im not the greatest painter but I do enjoy trying it. The Games Workshop ones? They are very nice, especially the early ones the Perry Brother's did. You should post a few pictures Wait until you see my mighty mushroom. |

Who was it here that said they went to school with Gavin Williamson? Every time I see his smirking physiognomy on the front page of the paper I feel the urge to break something. I think he might be even more slappable than Gove.

Morning all, Gaming - Yesterday's discussion of Stardew Valley made me go back to look at similar games that I had played in the past to see how long I had actually sunk into them. Didn't make for jolly reading. My office is doing £1 secret santa. Anyone got any suggestions? At the moment I'm thinking either scratch card or a tin of spam Have you got a WH Smith with a book section near you? The reduced to clear section can be a goldmine of assorted nonsense, including some good stuff for a pound. I've picked up some good last minute things there. Barring that I second the suggestion of Poundland. |

Theoretically I was at 6th form at the same time as him, in practice he was probably playing war dollies somewhere in the geography department whilst the cool kids, which absolutely included me, did cool kid stuff and completely failed to register his existence.
As you say, completely fucked that up.
