Morning!
Games none. TV none. More The Wire on the commute today.
Watched 'England is Mine' last night. Enjoyable enough. The guy playing Mozza did a good job. He really kicked the arse out the Inland Revenue job.
Reheated pizza for dinner. Using a skillet rather than the oven is a game changer.

Games blog: no
Work blog: argh
Sleep blog: no
TV blog: First episode of series 3 of Penny Dreadful. Was good right up until the last few seconds with an unnecessary on the nose character reveal.
Guardian blog: Still in pre-mod. The Vune, what a piece of work.
Cancer blog: Still fine.
Blog blog: I don't have a blog.
Model blog: Built a Warlord M10 TD. Looks good finished, but a real pain in the arse to build.
Typing blog too often and now it sounds weird to me blog: blog.

Oh,
Signed up for Netflix last night to watch The Punisher. You can't download for offline viewing. What's that about? Licensing rights Martin, that's why. It's not like it's not available as a torrent.
Don't they want me to try my free 30 days and cancel before costing anything?

Morning Instead of buying xmas presents online I watched the latest Peaky Blinders. Not quite as good as last week but nice to see Mr Hardy return. I have not bought one present yet. I just don't know what to get you.

Alright, Bit more FF7. Crashed a plane, then spent an hour wandering the map as I've no idea how to get to the temple of the ancients.
OTTM: thought I'd surprise Mrs Faceless by getting us ticket to see pearl Jam next June. She had the same thought, so my credit card is now fucked.
Happy days

Morning. Games? No. Books? No. Sitting in a freezing car waiting for someone outside the Co-op for 90 minutes? Yes. None of my relatives know what to get me for Christmas, and I don't know what I want. I guess I have reached peak middle-class ennui. It's a bit disappointing, as I thought my mid-life crisis was meant to give me new enthusiasm for the material.

Why is Scam still hooting on the G? Obviously I respect the hell out of him but he needs to get his toga over here.

I feel bad. Philip Hammond has blamed disabled people for loss of productivity and we are here posting puns etc.
My New Game+ of Witcher has ended (main story) the ending was probably better than the first play through, for the world but not Geralt.
Spoiler.
Killed Radovid so Mages and non humans are OK. Temeria is a free province. The emperor killed his domestic enemies and Ciri became a great ruler. Skelliger modernised and stopped pillaging.
Now Blood and Wine again. Vampires are brilliant.

Why are croissants in this country nearly always straight?
Finally, FINALLY! Duffed up the Abyss Watchers, fell down a massive pit, got depantsed by a big skellie, fell off a massive bridge, got repeatedly run over by a weird big ball of skellies thing and then fell off the bridge again so did a tourist run in Elite instead. I really like those Saud Kruger ships, but wish you could hearse them up a little. Full Munsters.
Games chat. Awful.

Morning!
Bit more Stardew Valley last night. Got lucky with a geode and ended up with a prismatic shard, I did not repeat my mistake from last time around by donating it to Gunther, instead I turned it into a lovely sword. This enabled me to get down to level 50 in the desert mine, which was nice. Also managed to get to 10 stars with my chosen wife so just need the creepy necklace man to appear now, apparently he doesn't like snow. Winter 20 now, come on Spring, I'm getting a bit bored!
TV wise, the better half and I watched the Apprentice, which was shite as usual, followed by Peaky Fucking Blinders, which was good. Tom Hardy was back on top form, Aiden Gillen and Adrian Brody were not.

Are Vallejo paints any good? Better or worse than army painter? I'd say about 80% of the paints I use are Vallejo. Army painter is ok, but it can be hit and miss as some of their colours seem to separate easily and need a lot of mixing to get them back to a usable state. The only thing I'd avoid with Vallejo are their reds, which are pretty awful, otherwise yes I'd recommend vallejo. Depending on what I'm painting I also use a lot of Revell Aqua Color acrylics, these are thick and need watered down, but they have the advantage that the greens are very good for historicals as they are duller and that they are readily available from places like Hobby Craft. What are you painting out of interest?

What are you painting out of interest? Wolfie is doing the kids faces at the local Xmas Fayre. "No you can't have a pokemon or a bunny... You can have Canadian Disruptive pattern or Liebermuster. Tell your mum to buy some turps on the way home"

Morning.
Games: Civ V. While the Spanish had been building cities and expanding rapidly, they had neglected their military. I took advantage and the Arabs now have four new puppet cities.
Other: homemade curry, last night, was delicious and there are left overs to have for lunch today. 4*s

Good morning all,
I went to a shit carol service yesterday night. So nothing fun at all. It wasn't a bad carol service, they're just shit out of principle.
In other news, I looked over some of last night's chat and from what I can see from now and my lurking days, with the cancer and homeless chat, it may have been the first time you people have ever actually achieved the "other things that matter" part of the chatterbox mantra.
4 *s to all involved.

GENETICALLY MUTATED RATS COULD BE RELEASED IN BRITAIN TO SOLVE RODENT PROBLEM
The rodents would be genetically modified in the laboratory before being released into the wild where they could mate with the native population.
Professor Bruce Whitelaw, of the University of Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute, where Dolly the Sheep was created, said: “For the first time we have the makings of technology that could reduce or eliminate a pest population in a humane and species-specific manner.

What are you painting out of interest? I have a load of LOTR models that I stripped and am thinking of painting. Army Painter seem a bit cartoony which is OK for zombicide but the Vallejo seem more natural if that makes sense. Im not the greatest painter but I do enjoy trying it.
