I saw the original Focus. Jan Ackerman was very bitter that their earlier prog/jazz material had not been as well received as these 'stupid single instrumentals' (as he saw them )and played like a total twunk throughout the gig - contemptuous of the paying punter ie.me. TVL really had to work hard to save the performance. This is a much better version of Hocus Pocus by some fat old guys who like rocking out and don't mind if they look stupid. Tuuuuune!
