Morning everyone.
Today is Friday. I will be doing some work, probably from the comfort of bed. Later there will be alcohol. That is all, carry on.

Pub last night was not* a good idea, when viewed from this mornings haze. Bit of assumed racism too, during the quiz. There was a caricature picture round. Our team was debating whether one of the crude portraits was Michael Jordan or Shaq O'Neal. We went with Shaq. It was Jordan. I said, out loud**, 'Oh, it was the other one', obviously meaning the other choice we were discussing, not 'the other black man we have heard of'. The surrounding teams thought the latter. Luckily*** they found it funny rather than offensive. Never change Stockton, never change****. Ganes! None! FFXV is now at 71/ 78GB downloaded though so I've set FO:76 going whilst at work, as the promise of sweeties puppies guns from Felice (thanks Felice Landry!) is a nice offer. And all I have to do is get in this van and take my pants off, you say? *It absolutely was. The house has been drunk dry. **Perhaps louder than first thought due to the 'several' pints of Asahi. ***Perhaps tragically is more apt. ****Please do. In the words of the Moz, 'Come, come, come, nuclear bomb'.

What's the opposite of 'everything's coming up faceless?" - that's what I've got.
A kind relative gifted me a £20 hmv voucher for xmas. They still think it's 1985. I guess it's now worth about 2p.
Also got thrashed repeatedly by German and dutch players at MarioKart online mode last night.
Brexit now!

Morning
I am working from work today - boo Scoffing leftover sausage rolls and bananas for lunch
I have also sneakily purchased 2 tickets for Focus, playing in Norwich on 24th Jan, and am contemplating a cheeky hangover day for the 25th.
Games - none, although NMS is calling, and I have 200 million in the bank in Elite that I need to get spent

The other half is working so I'm at home with the children. Is there a clever word to describe the situation where all I want to do is close the curtains and play video games. Both kids want to stay in and play video games. But I feel I need to take them out somewhere for fresh air, exercise and perhaps, shudder, to learn something?
Also, does a Macdonald's drive thru count?

Morning. I was so relieved to boot all my relatives out of the house the other day that I slept till 1030 this morning. A great start to my day of working at home. Sheep2 if you think Pittodrie is close to the sea, you should try Arbroath, where any shot over the bar ends up in Denmark a few days later. Inverness similar. But for those who do not appreciate sea views, the connoisseur's choice is Bayview (East Fife). Here, the new stand no longer faces the bay and instead provides commanding inland views of a massive abandoned factory.

Chumbles I dont really listen to radio 2. For the last 5 years or so I've only listened to news programmes on radio, scanning desperately for any small indication that we are not all totally fucked.

That sounds like a solid plan. How much are the tickets? [EDIT] I'll check for myself as I have a recovery day, today.

Morning.
Just had to re-sign into Reddit on my new phone. Apparently my password is the URL of a stir fry recipe I'm fond of. Weird password manager cut/paste I think.
Games. Wee bit of Mariokart. Perusing the Nintendo store. Might buy something later. There's a sort of dig dug game for £4.
Off to a shopping centre in a bit to watch a fillum & eat dinner.
Almost finished sorting out the metadata and cover art on Mrs C's dad's Plex box.

My thought for today. Have you ever been told you are the spitting image of a celebrity? When I was at college, I was apparently a young George Harrison. 10 years later and the Tom Hanks effect had set in. A fair few years ago, I was in France and a group of mature ladies were convinced I was Tim Robbins (shawshank era). Now, I look like this:-

Nope - although I've been told that if Jeff Goldblum had a beer belly he'd be the spitting image of me.

Gayfield (chortle) must be one of the coldest places to watch football on earth. There's no protection from the wind coming in from the sea. They really need to poach whoever looks after the hedge at Brechin and create a barrier. Ah, the sights and sounds banter years... In other news, I'm trying to find something to spend a £20 game voucher on before they go down the swanny too. Sonic Mania maybe? I'm not really wanting to give them any of my money.

Games chat: I have to buy a PS Dual Shock 4 controller at some point in the next 6 weeks or so. Are they ever cheaper than £45 for a Sony one? My instinct is to buy genuine Sony, not a cheaper one, but does it really matter? What colour should I buy? Is it ok to deliberately not check the human rights and environmental assessments of the factories they're made in, because I don't want to feel guilty?
