Mrs C's brother in law recommended punchtechnology to me for already built machines. They bought a few at work from them. They work in motion capture/vr/games.

Morning all and happy new year.
Rigchat Had to upgrade and replace mine, got a Ryzen 2200 APU. Don't game on it much so this should be fine.
Gamechat Anyone ever play Baldurs Gate 2? Need a decent turn based RPG and assume it's a good one.

“No injuries sighted (except to spider). No further police involvement required”. It is kind of you to not provide a link with the inevitable illustration. Always think of the arachnophobes. Although I could never figure out why any self respecting arachnophobe would want to live in Australia.

Salutations. I'm no longer Queen of the Nibbles as only a paltry amount is left now.
Got a phone call this morning that one of the twins has come down with chickenpox. Blood tests all round.
First bit of gaming after a long time, combining grinding with the B team with doing side quests. About to challenge the Warbringer.

I’ve been distracted from Octopath by Mario v Rabbids. I’m loving it - just finished World 2, and have gone back to open some of the earlier levels to perfect them.

The buy it now prices at T'Ebay are disappointingly high. Yeah but not everyone has 2 days to wait for the auction to end when buying petrol.

There is a Tesco off the Motorway at Carlisle. It is pretty much the same distance off the Motorway as a services. You'll save 20p+ a litre. If you ever need fuel on that section of the M6 it is well worth knowing about

Happy New Year GGBCBWs! Hope 2019 is better than last year for you all (especially you, Chumbles, sounds like you've had a bad run of it over the period)! Now that's out of the way, time to bore you all! Stockton delivered on Monday, I actually found a shop that stocked thermal paste. It was like a New Years eve miracle! This meant that I could build the beast as soon as I got home. So I did. Results: Front: View AttachmentBack: View AttachmentIt looks like a pride float and I couldn't be more proud. Runs like a dream too (which is always a bonus). This meant that much of New Years day was spent downloading updates/ games. I did manage a bit of Fallout 76 though. Still enjoying it but the enemy level seems to have rocketed in the main quest line. Previous quest, everything ~lv 10, current quest, everything nearby ~lvl 50. Good scaling Bethesda! I've just taken this as an excuse to explore more. Looks like if you went 88mph you would soon be banging your own mother.

I was distracted from Mario & Rabbids by Skyrim from which I was distracted by Octopath. Now I'm trying my best not to get distracted but Mario & Rabbids is a great game and I need to go back. The Rabbid versions of Mario characters are the best.

Omlette with random leftovers for lunch. Stew in the slow cooker this evening to get rid of some more. Divinity and pillars of eternity were the last two turn based combat ones I can remember.
