Morning all!
Half day for me administrating the Braindead Ant Unit. Heading up to London later for some photomagraphs - there's a "light festival" on at Canary Wharf.
On the subject of photography, spent some time last night taking shots of classic cameras. Next week's competition subject is "3" - so I'm combining them into a triptych.

Crank - Ray Donnovan - back on form with this most recent season - just finished it the other day.
Standouts are the music - I’ve spotified so many tracks from that show this season.
Also - the episode recaps - no speaking, just letting the visuals tell the story. This should be a masterclass for all other TV editors.

Gym? Yes.
TV? Yes. Parks and rec, skipped series 1 and watched 2. I enjoyed it the first time round, but not sure it stands up to watching again. I'm PARKing it. Snarf. Snarf.

Yesterday I swapped from my 75 year old dentist to one that looks like she may have been sixteen once.
She was very disdainful about my gums.

I tested my injured foot with a walk/jog round a playing field. It felt amazing to actually do some exercise for the first time in 2 months, but I've probably made it worse again. Still, an exhilirating 12 minutes. Today I need to play RDR2, as I have a strong feeling I am near the end of chapter one and I need to stay on schedule to complete it before the PS5 comes out. |

I played PUBG duos with my brother last night, in 7 matches we knocked 3 people down and got no kills. Brutal stuff. Watched some more Titans too, going alright so far.
I think if I factory reset my Xbox I may be able to get it working again.

Despite everyones best attempts to the contrary,, I played some Ace Combat! It's terrific, with proper flight controls for experts, bonkers plot, real planes, tremendous stuff. BRRRRRT
Turns out the PS4 version pre-orders come with Ace Combat 5 for PS2 as well.
No toilet action to report.

Still fucking miles away from anywhere and need to get somewhere in a weekend to get several million space zlotys and swap ships. For once I’m annoyed that I keep hitting big stretches of unexplored space. Other things that matter! After having owned a rather nice new guitar for 6 months ive only now realised that one of the tone controls doesn’t actually appear to be connected to anything. This does not say a great deal for the quality of my ear. Booze! I haven’t touched a drop of real booze since Saturday. Amazing scenes, particularly given that I read the news. I am so thirsty. |

All this toilet chat reminds me of a something. Settle down, dear readers, for the tale I am about to tell may be upsetting for small children and the mentally feeble.
I had invited some friends over for dinner and drinks, my mother-in-law was there too (as was my wife obvs). My friend 'Steve' went to the toilet after quite a few rums. He was in there some time and we heard banging noises from the bathroom. A drunk Inspector Tiddles was sent to investigate. Steve said he was OK and duly returned to the dining room. Later, he left with his girlfriend, but forgot his brown jacket.
[Fast Forward to the next morning]
Inspector Tiddles was in the kitchen when a voice called out from the bathroom, 'What dirty bastard did that!'. Investigations revealed a giant turd on the bathroom floor that had clearly been there overnight. An immediate phonecall was put in to Steve:-
'Hi Steve, you left something here last night.'
'Really, what was that?'
'You left something big and brown here - your jacket'
'Thank fuck, I thought I'd lost it'
'Oh yeah, there's also the issue of the MASSIVE TURD you shat on our bathroom floor'
'I don't think that was me, that was probably my girlfriend - she's like that'
'You lying fuck Steve'.
Case closed.
In case you're wondering. Our toilet roll holder was on the other side to the one at his place. So I can only imagine he was drunkenly twisting around on the toilet seat looking for the bog roll when said turd fell out of his arse onto the lino. Which he didn't notice, because he was smashed.

Everyone just calm the fucking fuck right fucking down right fucking now. We've all had a drink, we've all been turned on by dentists and we are all Zeinab Badawi. It's not a great place to be, but it's where we are, and if we all just carry on drinking heavily I think we can get through this.
