Given their caseload they have a 75-80% chance of being right, but with cheerful comes jollying along and inane questions like "are we comfortable?" as if I were some sort of compound, imbecilic zoned out ancient...

Fucking bus lanes. I didn't even want to drive in it, but the signs were confusing and I couldn't work out where I was meant to be driving. It's not like there were any actual busses anywhere near it at the time.

Amipal - not really interested in VR since I don't think I'd get enough use out of it to justify it. But it would be amazing in Ace Combat. You can look around with the right stick but being able to just look about in the cockpit with your head would be amazing (and potentially vomitous). I'm assuming you can actually play the whole game in VR, it may just be an 'experience'.
Any game where you can fly an A10 is fine by me.

Whilst I am a remainer, my thinking is we have to honour the referendum result which I expect was mostly about controlling our own borders and relinquishing ECJ control. Hard Brexit now!!

I just got an email from a friend telling everyone that he's pulled the plug (literally, I suppose) on his landline after getting one nuisance call too many. I wish I could do that. He lives alone, so I suppose it's easier for him to take that step.
Although it's really died down for us recently, now it's mainly computer-generated voices trying to tell me that my internet will be disconnected. At least one can just hang up and doesn't have to argue with the persistent bastards.

I mean I've got one for the internet, but I don't know what number it is and I've never used it.
It also acts as a bell when people come and visit. But luckily I can also use my mobile to tell them to piss off.
