The 'box has long been a fairly robust plaice, and that has its place, within limits. If some people are genuinely offended or put off the 'box by it, I could avoid excessive deployment of The Swears*. Personally, I think offensiveness is more about tone than about particular words. It's in some ways easier to be genuinely unpleasant to someone without swearing than with, and easier to express camaraderie with swearing than without.

Morning all!
A 5am start for me, to get up to the airport for our flight to Copenhagen. It is incredibly foggy, so hoping for no delays...
I shan't be posting while we're away, as I always find holidays a great way to disconnect. While on holiday, am not one to post constantly about where I've visited, the food I'm eating, and the photo I've just taken.

I was going to lament that Shenguin's sweary back catalogue indicates a sad lack of vocabulary for someone with two degrees in English, but then I noticed that he doesn't just say 'cunt' all the time and on at least one occasion used 'fuckbeggar' as a supplementary, so fair play to the cunt.

Finished RDR last night, and now feel slightly bereft. Probably my favourite game of this console generation.

Caught up with series 3 of The Expanse and continuing via the books. Finished Cibola Burn which will be series 4 ? and now starting Nemesis Games. 40 mins of RDR mainly loloping on the lonesome trail. Baked a pear cake to use up some pears.

I played some Fortnite and PUBG with my brother last night. We did terribly. My favourite moment was when a PUBG duo split in two and one headed toward my brother and the other to try and flank us and I laid a great detailed plan to my brother to deal with this. I proceeded to take out out the flanker as per the plan and then my brother muttered his first words during the whole process "huh, I'm dead".
My mouse should arrive either today or tomorrow, I fancy trying CSGO for a bit.

Been up the garden to feed the birds and the first lot of frogspawn in the pond. Always a good indicator of the turning of the seasons.

I've been sifting through the Shenguin C-bomb files, and Serenvikity's flounce. The word 'wench' I thought was an old term for a barmaid. Apparently this is wrong. I shall now require 're-education'.
p.s. The C-bomb files are hilarious. I feel a bit left out. Will the right honourable orange ape represent his species and do me the honour of calling me a c**t?
