I am looking at my cheese sandwich but I have a strong desire to consume meat. May sack it off and nip to the sarnie shop.

Now that I've got the 3DS going again I've caved in and ordered the remake of Luigi's Mansion. Should be arriving later today. Why? Why couldn't they have made this one for the Switch? I've never played the original but love the concept and the sequel. It's a great game and I played it when the original 'cube version came out. As per Mario 64 I got to the end of game baddie and gave up after a few attempts. I'm really looking forward to part 3 later this year, and not on a tiny screen. That cartridge thing bummed me out so much because the game itself is so much fun.

Yeah, I’ve found the mercenary/bounty hunter thing frustrating at times. Especially if I’m on my way to take out the bounty giver in the first place. Each time, I died because I got stuck on or in some terrain. I may have been slightly angry about the whole thing.

Oh and yesterday I jumpstarted a lady vicaress. That's increased my karmic standings no end. She was highly impressed by my booster pack and called me an angle. There were so many opportunities for double-entendres that I may have just stood there biting my tongue and grinning like a loon. Absolutely useless. Decades of cheap smut on British films and TV utterly wasted. Did you at least manage a Sid James laugh?

Not completely wasted - while we were both bent over peering under the bonnet I had the premonition that it could end up with me being chased Benny-Hill-style round the carpark in an ever increasing conga of comedy coppers, religious types, small bald men, and underdressed ladies..... unfortunately none of the others were evident at the time though

Games: Oxenfree decided to corrupt its save file meaning I had to start the game again. OTTM: Nothing else matters.

Noobox - Final cat herding announcement 🐈🐈🐈*... With a complete cast of 4 noobs and 3 advisor participants who've promised to "be moderately helpful to the noob element, rather than taking all their goodies, knifing them in the back and pissing on their corpses"... Invites to these three Wise Men will go out shortly after lunch. Non-combatants can spectate, though summaries of each move will be in the relevant day's 'box. Spectating will allow you to flick back through the previous moves... Link to the game*Post-Brexit England? (a sad reflection on Alan Calhamer's knowledge of celtic sensibilities)

Do the three wise men include Shenguin?

I am not saying they are not wise men. Not impugning them in any way shape or form.

I'd advise fact shaming anything they tell you though.

I just hope everyone has fun, that's the main thing.
I've never played diplomacy. My brain is the size of a peanut.

AmipalController through the TV set frustrated? Getting frustratated with a game is the worst. You'll go back to the same spot, breeze through it and wonder what the problem was. The AC games have often been bad for individual difficult moments. Though it is usually a terrible stealth mission where you can't see why you are failing it. I have never thrown a controller across the room, because I'm not an emotional cry-baby. I merely place it carefully on the table, go into the garage, then return with a hammer. Gaming is expensive these days.
