I find this amusing:
"You may not attack or ally with someone because of a specific relationship with that person (example: you are friends or enemies on the forum or in general on the site). Bringing in-site friendships or animosities into a game is not fair to the other people in the game."

Some might call it a pious hope - the good players abide by that, but there are scum bags who double- or triple- team the rest of the players. Fortunately this is a closed game where I sort of know you all, and part of the Game Director's kit is a whacking big boot to kick offenders into touch.  |

He just sent me alliance request and text. We have another friend in this as well but I don't know which one he is. I feel like a dick no matter what I do. Could we bring them into this alliance?"I told the latter guy he was being an idiot - if his RL 'friendship' required him to pal up in every fictional circumstances then either it's not a friendship worth having and that playing any kind of game where he couldn't divorce reality from the context of the game meant he would find his game-playing existence infinitely less enjoyable. |

I have definitely played games (not diplomacy) where a couple ruined the game by effectively playing as one player, but with two goes and twice as much stuff as everyone else. You have to play properly or it's not worth playing.
You can ruin almost any competitive game by teaming inappropriately.

I'm living in a hotel for a few weeks, due to work again, like some sort of lay by tramp, surrounded by sex people,in West Sussex of all places. There's a lot of big eared boys, and girls.
