Morning!
Last night I hit breaking point in Stardew. I found that I'd missed a recipe in year 2 that won't be repeated until year 4 which I need for the cooking achievement. Fuck. That. I'll try to remember that next time I'm in a funk and start it again. Still, 75 hours in 2 weeks is quite the time sink. Well worth the price of admission.
TV wise we finally got round to carrying on with Mindhunter. Just wrapped up the Atlanta murder case. Good viewing so far, can see us finishing it off this weekend.

Other stuff that matters: Braved the Sutton snow and ice (doubling the distance and taking 90 minutes to do a nine mile journey) to get to work basically because I work next door to the big world of cine cinema for which I have Star Wars tickets booked at 7.30pm tonight. This is the only thing that matters right now.

this morning I rage-quitted on the alarm clock as it was not working, it works less now. I have also just had a fearsome papercut which I thought I could actually hear. It's not going well.

I passed my exam this morning and am now 1/3rd of the way to adding my already impressive set of initials after my name. I also got drunk in town last night which I feel really adds to this achievement. Finally, crammed a Dexter in as it leaves Netflix in the new year.
Saturday is my Star Wars day.

No time for games. Yesterday I managed to get into the pub by ice skating my way from the car park. I would have thought that, given the nature of his business, it is in the landlord's interest to clear and grit the path to his establishment. Otherwise his customers are - almost literally - going to fall at the first hurdle and going to A&E instead of consuming a pint.
This morning I received another text message from Royal Mail about a delivery from TOOLTIME UK LTD because some tool from Walsall ordered a lot of stuff online and gave out my mobile phone number as the contact instead of their own. I have already had "Your parcel is outside" phone calls when all that was outside was my neighbour eyeing me with curiosity while I shouted "I think you've got the wrong number" into the phone. Today I'll see what Christmas shopping can be done online, so this is going to lead to a comedy of errors.
