Morning!
Taking my daughter to a brunch with Santa on Sunday is about as exciting as it gets. You up to much?

Morning!
I feel like my head is about to explode.
Weekend fun: two Christmas parties Saturday and Sunday. I'm beginning to seriously worry about my liver.

Good morning
No games last night, nearly finished Punisher, and got a lot of present wrapping done.
I don't want to be at work today.

Morning,
Was out in Edinburgh last night with the Japanese class until late. Woke up on one of their couches this morning at about 6.30 and had to get up and jump on a bus to catch a train to work. Could do with some sleep right now.
I'm also going to have to come up for a plausible reason for wearing a Christmas jumper to work on a non-Christmas jumper designated day.
Weekend will involve visiting the Edinburgh Christmas market and a curry house in celebration of the anniversary of my birth.

I've just changed the wiper blades on my car, pretty much the most macho thing I've ever done. Had to fight hard against the urge to high-five a passing dog-walker.

Khushi's is the only Edinburgh curry establishment I'm aware of. I'm sure there are others. Probably not getting to the Edinburgh market this year as Mrs Crank's folks have moved west to be near us.

spent the week with an ear infection and prepping for guesting on a podcast. Now it's over I have the rare free evening so I'll be doing nothing on Skyrim....sweet, sweet joy.

Now you know two. Despite all that publicity grabbing nonsense, it's very good. BYOB and no corkage fee as the owners don't want to make money from alcohol, so you're not stuck with a limited selection of booze either. Only polite to tip accordingly, of course.

Morning w⚓s A fine victory on my last race of GT Sport session last night. I qualified 3rd, but the top ten were only separated by less than second, so it looked like it was going to be a close run thing. It was a clean start from the top 3, but I think something must have happened in the first corner for 4th place and downwards, because we quickly built up a 5 second gap to 4th. It was very close racing for the three of us, all within around 0.5 seconds to each other, shaving a tenth here, clawing it back there. I managed to sneak into 2nd briefly when my opponent went a little wide, but he managed to get me back a few corners later by squeezing me enough to the side that I had to relent or go off the track. Hard but fair racing. This kept going for around 4 laps, until the leader made a mistake and went off briefly, allowing second place to take the lead. He had enough momentum to keep me in third, until the next lap when again he went a little wide and I took the opportunity to brake late and turn in early and undercut him Our little spat had allowed the new leader to build up a 3 second lead on lap 5/8, but I was clearly the faster car, and over the next 2 laps I caught up to him and was never more than around 0.7 of a second behind him. Even though I was faster, I never seemed able to get close enough to get him on one of the corners, which was frustrating and also confusing. As we came down the finishing straight on the final lap I was resigned to second place, but then he slowed massivly, and although I came across the line second, it was only by 0.05 of a second. Well dear reader, it turns out he must have been cutting the corners in a big way to stay ahead of me, because he had 9 seconds worth of penalties which he had not had the chance to pay off since I had been behind him so closely. This promoted me to first place, and a sweet fifth victory. I’m not saying I’m Prost, but I might be Mansell. As the boring diatribe above proves.

I’m not sure what it was about as I slipped into a coma before the end.

Morning all,
Christmas dinner with my prospective future employer last night. Didn't make an arse of myself and looks like the jobs lined up. 4 stars. Then got told to stop frowning and cheer up on the train ride home by some random.
No gaming but started watching the good place. Been pretty good so far and I'll probably watch some more over the weekend.

Morning you beautiful people! Oh wait, wrong blog.
Yesterday I took delivery of a home-made Christmas pudding. If it's anything like last year's, it'll be mighty fine.
Also continued our watch of Aliens: DC. Got to have those auto-sentry guns.

I'm going to London tomorrow, off to see Les Mis and do a few other bits. I am also in London tomorrow - going up to the icebar in Soho for a mate's birthday. Beforehand will be a multi-hour photography walk. Very excited. More excited about that to be honest.

I see there is some Edinburgh curry chat. If you are having a curry in Edinburgh you are 100% doing curry wrong. "Hai guys, may nayme is Callum and this is Ruaridh and we'ull be yur waiturs tooday. So are yoo guys just ouyt for the craic toonight, eh?"
Mother India's Cafe in Glasgow does curry tapas style, which is a nice touch. Its also got a wanker quotient at least 50% lower than any Edinburgh curry house.
I kid, Edinburgh is certainly a place. A place in Scotland. The least Scottish place in Scotland. A place certainly.
