I saw Radiohead as a support band and thought "Who are these jokers?" - 6 months later biggest band in the world. I saw Pulp as a support band and thought "Who are these jokers?" - 6 months later biggest band in the world. There are a couple of others. Basically if you want your band to be big get me to see you as a support and not like them. I saw Slaves with 8 other people in a tiny upstairs room of a Sheffield high street pub. Not exactly the biggest band in the world, but they're pretty big now. Female Smell were there as well, things haven't gone so well for them. A friend of mine saw Nirvana support Tad at the T&C |
